Had to replace a stolen one of these and the setup with the backup in Time Machine was simple and straightforward. It is a reliable laptop and the one issue we had with the last one was keyboard failure but was replaced quickly by Apple. It is on the pricey side for the storage but I subscribe to getting what you pay for. One disappointment was the lack of Best Buy reward points for Apple products. I did not realize that had been implemented until after the purchase. However, the price on the Black Friday deal was still better than normal pricing.

First MacBook experience. So far super fast and easy to use! Only bad thing is it appears that no BestBuy points are rewarded for this purchase.

Although I wish Best Buy did a better job of assisting customers with set up and transfer (especially after spending about $15k) there in the last 2 years ... But the machine works fine and Apple makes it pretty easy. My first MacBook Air lasted 9 years so I'm hoping the same for this new one.

This was a great investment for my daughter for her starting college, but I do suggest that you get Microsoft office but not as a yearly subscription buy it outright to have permanently on your MacBook because you will need it for college!

My daughter’s MacBook was 5 years old and she was in dire need of an updated version. Thanks to Best Buy’s Apple Sale I was able to purchase this Gold MacBook Air Laptop with all the new features, like Touch ID and 8GB Memory, that fit her professional needs and busy lifestyle! She loves it!

Bought this because I had the old 12”. So I traded that in and got this. Plus it was right on time because Best Buy was having $200 off. So far I love it. I am a full time student taking statistics, and public health and it opens all the programs I need to open without problems.

The new MacBook Air is a great laptop for students and users that do not need all the extra features of the Pro model. Long lasting battery, great screen and easy transfer process.

The first Mac I purchased about 10 years ago was at the end of it's lifespan so it was time for a new laptop so, of course, I got another Mac. I got the MacBook Air with touch ID and love it! Lots of new and updated features that I didn't have before. We're a Mac family!

Love this computer! It is efficient and has lots of nice little features that work well with other apple devices like the ability to unlock it automatically while wearing an iwatch. If you have other apple products this one is a must!

Learning the macbook was easy. Used for home use specifically for photos and documents. Being a life long PC user, the mac use has been very easy.

The MacBook Air is a great computer for graduate school. I needed a computer that would be able to handle several windows open, stream content, decent memory size and core processor. It does everything I need it too.

I’m still learning the differences between Mac and a PC but it does everything I need and it’s very light and has a great design.

I work with Windows OS and only allow Mac OS X in my house. The quality of the MacBook is excellent. Never any issues. I just replaced my 7 year old MacBook Air with this one and love it. Holds its value as well. The screen is crystal clear and it never slows down.

I've been waiting to own a MacBook for a while and now that I have it I love it, except for one thing, the camera. I know MacBook is known for having a great camera but I was pretty disappointed with the quality of this one. The picture comes out kind of blurry and not as crisp as it should be. Maybe in different lighting it could be better, but I still expected more from it.

I love it! I would give 5 stars but they were sold out of gold which just kinda bummed out the beginning process. But I got the silver any ways and it was still super nice! I love the keyboard that’s my favorite part. The other reason I can’t give 5 stars is mainly the camera quality. I like to FaceTime and I thought it would be fun to have a laptop to also FaceTime on but the quality is so grainy. Overall, I enjoy it as my first laptop of my own.
