Does not have a place for a usb you need a certain type of usb to plug in.

I keep comparing it with the apple laptop I had 25 years ago with the trackball and black and white screen. There is no comparison. I love this machine. The display and sound are excellent. The keyboard and pad are fun to use. I like the tactile feedback very much. It is an excellent product for my writing and presentations.
