The m3 is a more than capable chip. And while the air does tend to heat up during higher loads it never got hot enough to burn me. And because of the m3 processing power it handles tasks much quicker than my old intel based MBP. Ive edited multiple videos on this laptop already with a good level of things for the computer to chew through and each and every time videos between 10 and 20 minutes long all rendered in 2 minutes or less.

The MacBook Air works great and the quality is worth it imo. The only thing I’d change is the speaker volume as it’s on the low side. I played LoL and Sims on it and it runs smooth with no lag. Battery life is pretty good - I can stream multiple videos (duration of a few hours) for a couple days without charging it. I think if you have the M2 it might not be worth it to upgrade, but if you’re like me and didn’t have a MacBook Air before then get it.

Bought this as replacement for my M1 Pro and this is superior. I do miss the Touch Bar but was kind of gimmicky. It can handle running all of my DJ software while browsing and downloading and running multiple other programs at the same time. Very good battery life as well.

Best computer ever! Super fast and light weight. Great for college

I have never felt confident with computers, but this MacBook Air 13 has made me able to handle computer work without having to ask my wife to help me. In fact I was able to help her figure how to do something on her computer! Light weight, connects to my old printer perfectly with an adaptor, plenty of memory and speed. The open box discount and purchasing with the best buy credit card and yearly TOTAL geek squad plan - was such an excellent price I couldn't NOT purchase it. Best Buy employees were so helpful to this senior citizen and when I had questions, the geek squad were right on the scene, available even on a Friday evening! Go to Best buy and buy you computer there- they care, they're helpful andn they save you lots of money in the long run!

I got this for my daughter for school and she hasnt had any issues. Its fast, very light weight and easy to slide right into her backpack. She loves it.

Excellent quality storage usage perfect for what I needed it for the speed is very good and the battery life is absolutely amazing. charges very quickly and holds up for days overall experience with my very first MacBook by Best Buy has been great and the customer service that I received on the day of the purchase was absolutely amazing. Kudos to Prince who took care of me.

The new MacBook Air is so thin, light & sleek. Perfect for carrying around, and super mobile. Terrific battery life, only really have to charge it once or twice per week. Screean size is perfecr for casual use, and the build quality holds up with the quality of the highest end MB Pro. Do not regret my purchase!

I own a MacBook Pro 14 M3 Max as well for my business/work. That stays at home primarily and I use this MacBook Air M3 for travel. I have had the 15" MBA as well. My advice is if you have a true pro level need for your work then get a Pro machine. For the vast majority of people the Air is amazing, For purposes, traveling with it is a breeze. Granted the screen is different from the Pro but it is not at all bad, if anything it is not as bright as I would like but not bad. If you are looking at the air models and you are not traveling extensively or it will be your only machine consider the 15", the speakers are better and the extra 2 inches of screen are great! If you are looking for a travel companion that is easy to pack and fairly light then the 13" is the right pick. There is a lot of talk on the 8GB versus 16GB. Since I have a business that requires 36+ on my Pro Max at home, having anything less than 16 on the go is really not good so I have the M3, 16GB 512. It runs great. If you can afford the extra $, get the 16GB, especially if you plan to keep the machine for more than a few years. It will be well worth it. Does 8GB run for simple things, of course, but if you use Chrome or start to open a large number of tabs and excel or powerpoint then 8GB will swap pretty fast and while it is fast it is not unnoticeable in some cases. For the color, to each their own but I owned the Midnight and it is beautiful but it is a fingerprint magnet. I have the new MBP Space Black and it is better at fingerprints as the new m3 midnight is supposed to be, but not immune to them. I prefer Starlight. It is not boring like silver but not flashy. Just perfect and it doesn't really show that many smudges. I highly recommend the Air it is a great machine for travel, students, and everyday use.

Great laptop! It’s been my go to for writing papers, watching movies and tv and just computing in general! The light weight is perfect for traveling and its size is perfect that it isn’t too bulky. And the best part is it’s responsive and fast! I’m sure if I used it for editing videos it would fit the bill. I would recommend it and will likely be purchasing my significant other one when a great deal comes out again!

I found the macbook air is excellent in terms of weight, color, sleek and user friendly.

16GB and fanless .. why i got it. Coming from Windows though, the 'canvas' that is MacOS feels limited Got for around 1150. I enjoy having a laptop that doesn't heat up. And it's fast. a couple cons: i plug external SSD in, MacOS will create an info file for what seems like every file already on the drive. So if you have 500 files, you'll end up with 1000. If there's a ton of files, when you plug a drive in, contents won't even show up for 'minutes' and i'm stuck wondering if it's safe to unplug the drive, which i eventually end up doing. Even when a drive is unmounted, MacOS will kindly heat the thing up. Also with regard to battery life, while it is .. *ahem* relatively outstanding, i feel like i have to tip toe to avoid reducing any component's lifetime. Most of my windows laptops i feel like they could be thrown at a wall and set fire to and they'd still be relatively 'happy' haven't used the new Macbook much but It's nice to have. Plays Amiga-inspired music (mods) thanks to a few talented software devs

This is an incredible machine! So reliable, fast-starting, with an amazing battery life! The compact size and light weight is just what my wife needed. Out of the box, it came ready to go and she has certainly enjoyed using this new MacBook Air that replaced her almost decade old MacBook Pro.

This is an excellent air. The battery has amazing stamina! It's light and powerful. My old one died (after 9 years), and this feels like heaven.

Great purchase!! The M3 Air is a beast and with 16GB of RAM standard now with Macs it's even better. Big hard drive and fast processor along with tons of RAM make this machine a must buy!! My only complaint is that I spent $1300 on it and a month later it was discounted $400!!!!! I couldn't believe it and I can't return or exchange it!!1 Oh well my mistake I guess. Thanks Best Buy,

The M2 I had was running low on storage (8/256) so I took advantage of the Labor Day sales event to get an M3 with double (16/512). My M2 became a perfect gift for my parents and now I'm enjoying dual monitor support and about 20% faster speeds on the M3. Also love the amazing battery life (up to 18 hours). This laptop runs circles around my beefed up 2017 MacBook Pro intel with largest Core i7 processor. Don't hesitate! Get an M2-M3 today!

Since this was a box purchase, I was a bit nervous with my expectations but I can happily say this laptop was great. I use this laptop mostly for school and browsing the internet, and it has been able to perform well. The laptops battery lasts a long time, and its light and thin design makes easy for me to carry all day. I haven’t had any issues yet, after 3 weeks, and I look forward to keep using this laptop for years to come.

Love this thing. We use a MacBook Pro at church in our technology group, and even though I've had an iPad for years I thought having my own MacBook to help learn Mac/OS would be a good idea. This one is great; already installed Canva and Office; light weight and great battery life. even bought an external monitor and trackball!
