I recently got the MacBook Air 15-inch with the M3 chip, and I’m loving it. The bigger screen is perfect for multitasking, and the performance is super fast. Battery life is excellent, lasting all day. The only downside is the limited ports, but overall, it’s a fantastic laptop.

Upgrading from an older MacBook Air Model (2013). As a software developer, this has been my go-to laptop line for my personal projects and daily driver for many-many years now. The price is significant and an argument can be made for more cost effective alternatives being available, but if you are able to afford it, the M3 MacBook Air pays dividends towards productivity with its lightweight design, exceptional battery life, and above average performance. There can be some pain points with support for scientific software packages on Apple Silicon, but with the prevalence of OSX in the developer community and easy ways to leverage VMs, there is always a solution for creating a productive environment for developing 99% of software projects.

My Dell XPS had slowed to a crawl over the past couple years, and I was considering a new Windows laptop to replace it. I read an online article about the M3 MacBook Air emphasizing the speed and build quality. I researched it further and was hard pressed to find any negative opinions by both professional reviewers and everyday users. I took a chance and, my oh my, I should have switched from Windows years ago. The MacBook Air M3 is blazing fast, with a great screen and superb battery life. I've been using other Apple products for a while now, and the MacBook integrates well with my other devices. Take it from a first time MacBook user - run (don't walk) to your nearest Best Buy to pick up this great laptop.

Very good for daily tasks and can do a lot of heavy lifting. perfect for taking out. Better than any windows laptop in productvity and design. For heavy usage like unreal or photoshop or gaming, the macbook pro worked better.

I needed a new laptop for college. Compared to my last MacBook, this one is super fast and has great battery which is likely due to the M3 chip (I previously used an Intel MacBook). I read some reviews that said that the 15-inch screen size was too large for them, but for me, as someone who likes using split screen, the extra screen is perfect (I found my previous 13-inch screen to be a tad small. I am happy with my purchase.

The dream of a laptop with amazing battery life is is finally here. 7 years ago or so I bought an iPad for the battery life and tried to convince myself it was the best laptop I ever had. Not really, but this M3 air is what I was looking for: charging is an after thought because it lasts so long on a charge. It's so quiet. I love the absence of a fan. Performance is great, It's exactly what we all hoped a laptop could one day be. And it's a real computer: install and compile whatever software you want, use it for development, etc. Performance is outstanding.

I love the larger screen size and the weight of this MacBook since I carry it around a lot. I wasn't necessarily planning to buy it at Best Buy. My plan was to look at the Pro models available and compare prices with the Apple store. The employee who came over to ask if I needed help was so knowledgeable and guided me to this Air, given my description of what I planned to use it for. His explanation of the M3 chip, the expected longevity, and the cost comparisons, made my decision easy. His help saved me a lot of money and I am more than thrilled with the performance of this Air. The larger screen size is a bonus!
