Amazing computer. Best Buy’s price point compared to Apple was a solid discount. Apples prices their computers in a manner which makes it difficult to ensure your $ is getting the most value. Knowing your needs and knowing what computer is the best fit can be challenging. The moment you upgrade the Hardware in a base model, you’re better off moving up to the next best Laptop. Best Buy was able to get me double the storage at less than the price point of the base model at Apple. I will say at the product level, this computer has a beautiful display size. The color and resolution is solid. I was torn between getting a 14” MacBook Pro or a 15” MacBook Air. The price point for a Base Model 15” air was $1300 at Apple. Meanwhile the 14” pro was $2000. Once I began upgrading the Laptop to the specs I needed it became a $1500 MacBook Air. Now this price point only included me modifying the storage to 512GB. To now upgrade processor to 16GB of RAM, that would be an additional $200 in total price. Now we’re looking at a $1700 MacBook Air. At this point, moving to a 14” MacBook Pro would have been the better option. Now we start looking at the Best Buy price point. A 15” MacBook Air with 512 SSD for $1200 I can retain the benefits of screen size and save $300 in comparison to Apple direct. Even with my Student discount, this was still a better deal. The way I see it. I encourage you to do your research if you’re planning on buying a MacBook. It’s not something one should just jump into. Get something that will last and that is best for you. Watch 5-10 videos on YouTube. More importantly go into the store and Demo the device you’re looking into. The MacBook Air although “less powerful” than the MacBook Pro It’s a bigger screen It’s lighter and more portable by far The design is so thin I can barely feel it despite being 15” The weight between the pro and the air is so minuscule, but it’s definitely noticeable. I wanted something durable, efficient, portable and large. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The battery life is wild. I was able to get 4.5 days of usage before I hit 15% I typically don’t do reviews this long, but I feel like it’s important to give insight from one consumer to another. Lastly, I was torn on the color. Starlight was probably the best color decision I didn’t know I wanted. Looks great and looks clean all the time. If you don’t know what color to get, I encourage you to check this one out. It avoids the fingerprints that the midnight color can’t.

I recently purchased the MacBook Air 15, and I must say it’s exceeded my expectations in every way. From its stunning design to its outstanding performance, this laptop has quickly become my go-to device for both work and leisure. Performance: The MacBook Air 15 is powered by the latest Intel processor, and it handles multitasking with ease. Whether I’m editing photos, streaming 4K videos, or running resource-intensive applications, this laptop delivers a seamless experience. It’s remarkably fast and responsive, making it a productivity powerhouse. Design: Apple has always been known for its sleek and elegant designs, and the MacBook Air 15 is no exception. The thin and lightweight profile makes it incredibly portable, and the Retina display is simply stunning. The colors are vibrant, and the text is sharp, making it a joy to use for both work and entertainment. Battery Life: One of the standout features of the MacBook Air 15 is its impressive battery life. I can easily get a full day’s work done without needing to recharge. This level of endurance is a game-changer for people constantly on the move. Keyboard and Trackpad: The keyboard is comfortable to type on, and the trackpad is spacious and responsive. Apple’s attention to detail in these areas really enhances the overall user experience. Connectivity: While it would be nice to have more ports, the MacBook Air 15 does offer a good balance of USB-C ports for various accessories. It’s worth considering a USB-C hub for expanded connectivity options. In conclusion, the MacBook Air 15 is a top-notch laptop that combines exceptional performance with Apple’s signature design. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the value it offers in terms of power, portability, and battery life is well worth it. Whether you’re a creative professional or a student, this laptop is sure to impress.

I’ve had several MacBooks over the years, but this is by far my favorite MacBook! In the past I always preferred the MacBook Pro because I wanted the larger screen. With the 15inch MacBook Air I now get the larger size display, but in a light weight thinner design that comes with the Air. Apples M2 chip (and even the M1) really make the MacBook Air shine. With this model they also brought back the MagSafe charger! I’m so happy Apple listened to its customers and brought this feature back. Overall unless your someone who is maybe doing constant video editing, this is the best choice.

The MacBook Air is really light and easy to carry, despite this it has a very very long battery life, to the point where even when I’m on it for 8 hours or more per day, on battery, I don’t feel the need to charge it for another day or 2. Additionally despite its small size it is really fast at loading tasks on browsers or whatever else you may do. I am a programmer and it loads and runs complex and high amounts of code surprisingly fast. However you can still get the same speed, if not slightly better, in a different NVIDIA laptop for a similar price point.

I'm happy with the purchase, it's worth the money! nice, big screen, easy to watch videos! Excellent battery life, definitely enough for a couple of days of work! I compared it with 2 in 1 laptops with a touchscreen, and now I definitely understand that the touchscreen is only for tablets. This is not convenient on a laptop because... you get a clunky, heavy tablet. In short, a MacBook Air with 22 hours of battery life is my choice. take it, you won't regret it.

Review after using few months: The best Mac till date. Just buy and dont feel bothered for issues which people face in Windows laptops. Pros: The 8GB RAM is more than enough if you are not installing heavy softwares like AutoCAD or Design Studios. It’s a mini Version of Macbook Pro, performance is just more than a student, a coder, a office goer need. 15” screen is better for programming and for entertain purposes. It never heats up and never slows down. The best part of buying it from Bestbuy is the price match. I received 50$ back after I bought it. Cons(Not a con actually): It needs care and love (given the Pros, this is atleast you can do). Dont use it roughly, it will last forever(longer than your relationship). There is no other “Cons” I can think of. I am glad that I bought it from Bestbuy. (This is not a paid review, its an honest review from a happy user).

I recently purchased this computer as I was in a real need of a new laptop for school. I have had no regrets in this purchase to date. It is an extremely silent computer as it does not have internal fans so you will never get any weird or loud noises coming from it. I had never purchased a Mac laptop before but the transition was very easy. I pretty much never have to worry about the battery, after heavy usage with college work I only really have to charge it maybe twice or 3 times a week. The audio is perfect and so is the resolution of the screen.

Got this to replace my 2017 MacBook Air, which only had a 128gb hard drive and it was extremely hard to update because I never had space! This was a MAJOR upgrade from that computer. It’s so fast and sleek, I love the color, and I installed every game I could possibly want to play on it and I STILL HAVE SPACE ON THE HARDDRIVE! It also runs my usual apps like scrivener and photoshop perfectly, of course. It runs the sims 4 flawlessly, too. Really fast. Highly recommend upgrading. I wish it had an SD card reader and a usb 2 or 3 or whatever the rectangle one is, but the usb c works well enough. I got a usbc to standard adapter and it solved all problems. If you’re on the fence about upgrading, this is definitely worth it. The larger screen size is just brilliant. Also the battery lasts literally days if you don’t use it a ton. I use it a couple hours an evening. Amazing. So worth the money.

It’s been a while since I’ve upgraded my computer and the MacBook Air does not disappoint! It’s light, the graphics are great, the functionality makes everything easy and quick, and I love how compatible it is with my phone so everything is super sympatico!! I really like the size too and it’s beautiful. The starlight is a great color. Macs really do rule!

I upgraded from a 2019 MacBook Pro with the intel chip. I do not do any video or photo editing but for everything that I have needed to do, this exceeds my expectations. Love that they went back to the magnetic style charger, the fact that it matches the beautiful dark blue color of the laptop itself is a really nice touch! The keyboard is much nicer and easier on the fingers coming from the older style in the 2019 as well. On top of that, the screen is much nicer and it’s larger than the previous 13” display I had! I was able to trade my older MacBook in and got a significant rebate on the new computer and that helped me make my decision. I got right at or maybe a little more what I could have gotten by selling it myself so it was a win/win!

Finally left Windows for a MacBook even though I’ve been Apple everything else for well over a decade and I’m impressed! I was scared to make the switch because I was so used to Windows as far as computing needs goes but I’ve been able to do pretty much everything I did on Windows with the added pro of being able to airdrop and send data from phone to MacBook and vice versa. I love it and it’s so pretty! My new baby that I spend hours on each day.

Really fast, extremely light and portable, lots of screen space to get things done, and sooooo quiet. I’ve done some beat making in Logic with no issues. I usually have multiple tabs open in safari while running TradingView and discord. Not even a hiccup. It’s pretty impressive. If you’re on the fence, you won’t make a mistake buying this barring you’re not doing something that you should be buying a specific machine for. This is more than enough for the average to slightly above average user.

Apple has once again met my expectations. I just purchased a MacBook Air 15” (Space Gray) to replace my 12 year old desktop. The battery life is superb. I can go days without recharging. There is no need to keep it plugged in. It’s slimness and weight make it easily transportable from room to room. Thoroughly enjoying it!
