Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the Apple MacBook Pro's ease of use, performance, lightweight design, and battery life, with many praising its size and aesthetics. However, customers are negative about the limited number of USB and other ports, as well as the small storage capacity. Some users also noted that the device can get warm during extended use. While a few found the touch bar unnecessary, the overall feedback highlights a strong preference for the laptop's portability and usability.

Powerful laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I came from the world of PC and my first impression and expectations was to have stability for creation of music. To my surprise the MacBook Pro not only secured hi resource demanding software it never glitched or blue screened I was really shocked amazed and really happy with the results. I don’t really find usage for the Touch Bar but would strongly recommend anyone to purchase the MacBook Pro for professional results.

Solid Laptop for the price that was purchased
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this with the 150$ off sale and 100$ college student discount. Also had 1% ebates...came out to around 260$ off which was great. The deals brought it lower than the Surface Laptop which was one of my top choices. The build on this laptop is great. Solid screen with around 450+ nits and the Apple trackpads are great as usual. The butterfly keys are loud, but they start to feel real nice to use once you get used to it. I also really like the improved generation (I had the 2015 mbp13) and the weight difference is definitely noticeable even if its only a .5- 1 pound difference. The Space Grey looks really sleek and solid. 256gb model is definitely a necessity. I originally had the 128gb but I decided to future proof a little more and go with the 256gb since storage is not expandable. (For someone who flies drones, and does editing 4K videos as a hobby, space can fill up quick). I do believe though that 128gb is still doable if you just use it for basic uses (word processing, youtube, surfing) Touchbar- I really feel its a gimmick right now. is it nice? Yes. Is it worth a 300$ upgrade? no way. Overall, when you get this at a discount, it is a solid laptop, with solid customer service, and if you use other apple products, the ecosystem is a no-brainer to connect to rest of your mac devices.

Awesome for Work!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a Real Estate Agent. I have this computer hooked up to a 29" ultra wide 4k monitor and it pairs PERFECTLY. At any time I will have about 6-10 documents or pages open and it shows ZERO sign of slowing down or lagging. The keyboard took a little bit of getting familiar with, but now I love it and feel very efficient when typing! One feature that was a total surprise to me is the Apple Watch "Unlock"! This is AWESOME! If you are wearing your Apple Watch and you go to open your laptop, it will automatically unlock the laptop! No codes, taps, or fingerprints required! Another great feature I didn't know about was how easy it is to switch from one Mac to another if you use iCloud. I literally put in my Apple ID info and everything instantly transferred from my old iMac to this laptop. Including website shortcuts, passwords, settings, screen savers, documents etc! I don't have the model with the touch-bar but I honestly didn't see the added value it carried for the extra $3-400 price point. If it's ever $150 more and you also get an additional 2 thunderbolt ports then I'd say it's worth it. Otherwise go with the base model and you'll be more than happy!

Great laptop for college kids
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted to buy something for my college student. Went between this MacBook Pro model and the MacBook Air. The Pro has a little more power and offers more life if you use it to do stuff with videos and pictures. Did not opt for touchbar as reviews were mixed and glad I purchased it without. PS: I tried to save money 1.5 years ago with an HP. After 3x needing service I pulled the plug and bought this one. In total my family owns 3 macbook products and they are WELL WORTH the money! Never had problems with the past PROs we've owned.

Great Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very light weight, and easily portable. This laptop however has no USB ports, ethernet port, etc. It has 2 USBC ports and a headphone jack and...thats it. No touch bar. Price is not bad for this laptop though. I will say that...

Awesome Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this laptop whether it is for work, school, or anything else. It gets the job done and then some. I recommend it to people who especially love Apple and already have an iPhone because it will sync with text messaging, iCloud, photos, and everything! I bought this for school but find myself using it every single day for leisure as well. This is the baseline model of the MacBook Pro, but I didn't find the need for an upgrade simply based on a touch bar. Faster processor is a different story though. If you don't need anything bigger or more powerful, look no further. They're already expensive enough.

Best Apple Notebook for the $$$
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Considered several Apple notebooks including the MacBook Air before deciding to go with this Pro 13". Forget the Touch Bar (gimmick) the 13" without Touch Bar is the best value. A high end MacBook Air is still slower with an inferior screen.

GREAT PRODUCT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This macbook has served me very well. They last for many years and their processors are very advanced. Internet speed is so flawless and apple continues to impress for another year. Recommend getting this one with non-touch bar. Touch bar macbook is too expensive

Nice Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using the laptop to write this review right now actually. I love this thing, clear display, easy to use. I decided not to purchase the one with the Touch Bar, seemed more complicated and didn't provide a true purpose. Just one of those, "oh cool" things. Downside to the computer is there is no lightning cable for the newer headphones, just an old outdated aux jack. Not that big of deal since have Bluetooth headphones I guess.

Love
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been wanting a MacBook for a while and finally bought one for college. The computer is not to big or heavy so fits perfectly in my backpack. It does everything I need it to and I’m perfectly fine without the touch bar, I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything without it!

Solid laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is very nice. It's a decent price for a Mac (especially if you buy it when it's on sale). I've owned this and the model with the touch bar, and prefer this one when you take into account the price difference.

EXCELLENT LAPTOP
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is great, great battery life, better than the touchbar if you don't need the touch bar for any specific reason. Would recommend this laptop if you are not a big video editor

Great Computer; big step up from 2012 MBP
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer was a great buy. I did not opt for the touch bar mac as it was not something that I was planning on using. The touch bar has too layers of buttons to just do the simple task of adjusting brightness. I also love that Bestbuy price matches. Adorama was selling the 2017 13" MBP for cheaper, and bestbuy just matched it. Great buy. I am loving the computer so far. No problem. However, I would recommend getting a case for it. The computer is so thin, it needs something extra so that you actually grab it.

Great computer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was doing a lot of research and I wasn't sure if I should get a mac or a dell xps, and the end what made me choose the mac were the speakers quality, screen color gamut and the location of the webcam compared to the xps. I got this base model because I think the other models are overpriced due to the touch bar which I think is useless. This works great as a daily computer and I can browse and watch 4k videos without any issues. I definitely love this computer.

The best of the best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best laptop out there! The quality and the user experience compared to a windows machine is night and day. The touch bar models are not worth the extra money, this is the perfect model for my every day computing needs. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I also saved $200 by price matching a competitors web site.

Second Macbook that I love
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a macbook pro previously and loved it - just needed an upgrade. I was almost going to get the macbook pro with the touchbar but decided that it was not worth the extra $500. I can live without that. You get what you pay for with this product. I use it for school and browsing the web and it works excellent.

Worth the wait
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the 2017 non-touch bar model. Waited almost 2 years for the price to drop to a reasonable level. Acceptable for my first MacBook.
