Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the Apple MacBook Pro's ease of use, performance, lightweight design, and battery life, with many praising its size and aesthetics. However, customers are negative about the limited number of USB and other ports, as well as the small storage capacity. Some users also noted that the device can get warm during extended use. While a few found the touch bar unnecessary, the overall feedback highlights a strong preference for the laptop's portability and usability.

Good Laptop for Work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to buy a new laptop for professional programming, and since Windows is too annoying (it does all sorts of things in the background without telling you) I decided to buy a mac. After some research I found out that this 8GB-RAM 128GB-Storage Macbook Pro is already good enough for me. First, some extra stats that are not listed in the specs, if you want to do the research: Resolution: 2560 x 1600 Storage taken by OS: 28GB Pro: 1. Good CPU & 8GB-RAM is very powerful for a laptop used for work. 2. SSD means super fast loading time. Opening a project with JetBrains IDEs (include: start IDE, load project, finish background tasks) used to take around a minute on my old laptop, but now it only takes a few seconds. I even tried loading a game (Stellaris) and the loading time is probably 5 ~ 10 times less than before. 3. Retina display gives a very good resolution for a 13 inch screen. Cons: 1. 13 inch is kind of small. Although Retina gives you a good resolution, the small font size is not ideal if you want to protect your eyesight. (I'm planning to get a secondary monitor; will update then) 2. There are only 2 USB-C ports, and you need to buy adapters for USB/HDMI or other kinds of ports. I bought a multiport adapter which costed $69. (see pic) 3. The bottom of the laptop is completely sealed, and there are only two small air outlets on the far side (see pic). The laptop got really hot during my test run with Stellaris. But since I will only use this laptop for work it won't be a problem for me - just something for you to consider.

Our first Mac
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are definitely happy with our purchase of the Macbook Pro. Its pretty, its fast, its smooth. The only downfall is getting used to the Mac OS. We actually had a technical issue in the second week and Apple took care of it and sent it back to our house free of charge. Very happy with the service we got.

Obviously a nice laptop.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 13" MacBook Pro has been exactly what I needed. It's lightweight, attractive, fast, intuitive, and flexible. I added a larger monitor at home so that I can sit back to read and my only complaint is the need for an adapter between the USB-C and every single type of monitor input there is (though previous apple models all required an adapter as well, so there's that). But, I would buy it again in a heartbeat and Best Buy price matched the computer to less than my university's educational promo price, so when I bought it again, I'd but it through Best Buy as well.

Great computer for new college student.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is soo much faster than my older one. I like the size and especially the light weight of it. It does not get the feel of being heavy after having it in my lap for a while.

Macbook Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new MacBook Pro is really thin and light which is a must for me in purchasing a laptop. It has two USB-C ports and you immediately need an adapter for your devices. I wish it came with at least two more ports and maybe for the price Apple could have thrown in the adapter. The display and colors are absolutely gorgeous. In terms of battery life, I find the 10-hour claim to be almost true.

Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. This product has been amazing so far. I have always been a PC user and decided to switch to Mac after all of my Pcs breaking down on me. This product is quick, I have had zero pop ups, and the staff at Best buy was very informative. The only reason it is a 4 is because the price is pretty high and I had to purchase the low memory model because the one with more memory cost extra. Overall a great product.

I thoroughly enjoy it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The screen and the keyboard are my favorite features with this Macbook model. The large trackpad does not bother me, and the speed is great. I am also glad that this Macbook has two fans compared to the Macbook air that I previously had. I wish this model has at least two more USB C ports with an added USB 3.0 port. I do not mind the dongle life, but not when they are $50 plus.

Great quality and very light
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First I want to say that at the Modesto Best Buy I was help by a gentleman named Roman, and he definitely knows his information, and gives a very good and honest opinion, without talking down a product. No matter where you are, if you have questions or just want some very good information, or comparison, I HIGHLY recommend calling and asking for Roman! He definitely is an expert at his job and is very nice and will help you find exactly what you want!! As for the MacBook Pro, I absolutely love it. It has a very nice and visible screen, ultra thin and light, but durable! The battery life is very good and it is very quick.

Excellent laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Apple MacBook Pro is fast and has great screen resolution.I opted for the smaller size screen as it's lighter for carrying(especially biz travel) - don't need a bigger screen, and when I'm plugged in at work I simply connect to a full size desk monitor (which gives me two displays to work with). Not thrilled with Apple's decision to minimize ports - that limits flexibility IMO, and it's a pain to pay more to add peripherals needed for office work. That's the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me. Other than that, I'm very happy with the product's performance.

Got a good deal but have to buy adapter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Light and nice but some of the slots on the older model is removed and you have to buy an adapter so not so nice. New electrical cable not compatible so can’t share with the older model.

great computer, but gets hot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.im still new to the computer, and have not used it a lot yet because school did not start yet but have used it enough to know good and bad things. I like it a lot. fast speed, clean design, but the only problem I have is that the computer gets hot, super super hot. The fan runs, but it still gets hot, and I try to exit out of a lot of tabs and things, but if I use it for a long time, it gets hot :/ Even though that is a not-so-good thing, I would rate it 4 stars because everything else seems to be great.

I Love This Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an execllent laptop and I love how it works with my iPhone and iPad! It works so smooth! My only issue is that it only has two ports on there, requiring me to purchase adapter hubs. Overall, it was a great purchase!

Good College Computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is a good college laptop. Has enough power to handle photo and video editing, while being light and portable. Solid battery life. Great Screen. One downside is needing adapters to use any of the ports.

Another great Apple Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing beats a MacBook Pro when it come to a laptop. I had to replace my old 2010 version which had a DC/DVD drive. I can't say I miss that part of it but the older version was more solid and seemed more sturdy. The connection plug is shorter and it doesn't light up to indicate that it is plugged in like the older version. Some other changes on this latest version is taking me some time to get used to. I really miss that the Apple logo on the outside of the laptop doesn't light up when it's opened. I don't know why they took way that feature. Maybe to extend battery life. Overall, it's still a great laptop and it's a MacBook Pro after all.

Still not sure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Macbook after having a Toshiba laptop for many years. I have an I-phone so the learning curve isn't too bad but I'm still unsure if I am completely happy with the purchase. I wish I would have purchased a 15 inch screen but not sure if that feature is worth the extra money. I am happy with it being lightweight, the slim design, battery life and display. The rest I will wait and see.
