new laptop needed, previous Apple was 12+ years. Took advantage of Black Friday specials. Have never has virus issues w/Apple products. Looking forward to many years if use.

I love my new lap top it’s light and easy to bring on the go.

I bought this MacBook for my daughter for her school work. I like the Intel i5 processor. It's fast and reliable but I wish for the price I paid, Apple would allocate more hard drive space for this computer. Space is very cheap these days so I am not sure why Apple is so stingy with it. Apple needs to address this issue with their computers.

I love macbooks....its slim, light, and very fast. Wish it had lightning/usb/hdmi connections!!

Love my Mac. Was pleased with people I worked with at Best Buy and all they did to assist me with my purchase. They were very knowledgeable about what I needed with my laptop.

Battery life: 6-8 hours of continuous use (watching videos will make it shorter). It was a lot shorter before I updated the software. Touchpad: larger than previous edition Keyboard: Keys are larger and are flatter than previous editions. To me, it sounds louder when typing compared to previous keyboard. Don't have the touchbar so I can't speak about that. Speakers are decently loud. Does not have USB or HDMI port so you will need to buy an adapter. Very lightweight. Does not come with extension cord for charger so you will have to buy that too if you need it.

Switched from a 7 year old Samsung to a MacBook pro it wasn't hard to adjust since my phone is apple. I love it! It works for everything I need it to do for school and work

I purchased this computer for my granddaughter who will be heading to college this summer. She absolutely loved it and can’t wait to use it for school and coming college.

I have always used MacBook Pros, but was a little leery about this one after reading some reviews. Overall, I really like it. It is annoying that Apple opted to leave out USB ports, but this is easily manager with an adapter. The one big complaint I have is that when it gets hot (which sometimes is very hot), the keyboard starts making these terrible popping sounds. I have found that this is usually easily rectified by checking the internet tabs to see which one is still actively loading (even though it appears to be fully loaded), and just hitting the "x" next to the address bar to stop it. Otherwise, it runs beautifully and it is so slim and lightweight compared to my 2010 MacBook Pro. I also LOVE the space grey color option. It looks really nice. No regrets.

This was a purchase for my daughter who will be going off to college soon. She loves the retina display! The graphics are amazing and it's lightweight! Very easy to use!

No problems, as good as my last MacBook Pro. I don't particularly like that the ports have been changed and will have to now buy a bluetooth mouse, but great otherwise.

I love the new macbooks and I can't say I have many complaints. The resolution is beautiful, the keyboard is a great size, and it is decently fast while multitasking multiple apps. The only problem I have is with the processor. You'd think the 7th gen i7 core would be standard this year. Especially considering the price of the unit.

This is by far my favorite MacBook Pro. Simple to set up, powerful and is very light.

It’s pricey but it’s backed by Apple with a great battery life with everything you want from a laptop, great connectivity with Apple products (iPhone, iPad, etc..)
