Purchased this computer for college. Wanted something in the Apple eco-system, so was choosing between the various Apple options. I think this computer will be solid for the next four years.

I had a mid 2012 MacBook Pro. Loved it so much I recently upgraded the RAM and SSD. However when the battery went out, I was done! I really wanted the newest MacBook with touch bar. So I decided to get one. Only hesitated b.c I am cheap! LOL! But I should have purchased it from the start instead of investing money in prior MacBook. This MacBook is fast and takes care of all of my needs for work and pleasure. Awesome investment!

I was in search of a new MacBook since my current one was already 8 years old and I decided to go with the MacBook Pro Touch Bar. I like having the Touch Bar feature and use it often. It did take some time to get used to the keyboard keys but it's been fine so far. I love how much lighter the laptop it compared to my older one.

I originally had an older MacBook Pro that I bought around 2011-2012 and it lasted me through high school and into college. However, since I am in a major that does require fast technology I decided to get the new MacBook pro. This decision was most likely the best one for me because this computer is in great shape, it has a bigger screen, more bytes, etc. This is everything a college student would need!

I upgraded my Macbook Pro for the first time in like 8 years and I can't believe what they can do with these now. Very fast and crystal clear. The retina display is unbelievable. I had to upgrade to get some USB-C adapters but USB-C is the future. I'm glad I have it. Charges fast and holds a charge for a while. Overall...I'm very pleased with this purchase. No regrets...Even at the price I paid.

I had previously been tethered at home with the apple desktop but now I can take my work anywhere the Mac Book Pro. The only thing I regret is waiting so long to buy it!

Bought this after owning a macbook pro previously. It was a 2012 or so model, and this newest one is so thin and light. I can't imagine a macbook air would be much lighter than this because it is probably two pounds. It is very nice quality, but does not have a CD slot or regular USB-C ports so you will have to purchase converters. That's my only downside so far. Happy with my purchase.

I really enjoy this MacBook. The new keyboard makes it easy and efficient for writing papers. As a full-time student, Ive struggled in the past with my fingers getting caught as they slide from one key to the other. With the new keyboard, I don't have that issue. It is light in weight and small, perfect for travel. the touch bar is easy to use and makes for better multitasking capabilities.

So far, I really love this computer. It has lots of new features compared to my iMac so it's a little slow learning. Love the size, the feel of the keys.

Tied into windows products at work. But prefer Macs. I was nervous about the purchase being able to handle my works work as well as my homes work. OMG! Parallels works like a dream! I’m able to run engineering software as well as the iOS apps I love. If I had to pick one word to discribe....awesome!

It’s a little pricey , but I can do allot of things and it’s not heavy and not too big so when I am on the go I can take it with me anywhere.

This is another great laptop product of Apple. It flows seemlessly with my other Apple devices and is very user friendly, as Apple’s usual MO.

I didn't know what to expect never having had an apple laptop before, but I have been blown away. I have never had a computer that was so solid. It's like a brick, not like dinky plastic and bendy thin aluminum/plastic combinations that I've seen with other brands. It connects so well with other devices and services even outside the apple brand. It blew my mind to have a built-in mail app that didn't suck! (Looking at you windows 10....) The desktop management system is gorgeous and functional and I got the one with the touch-bar. I love it! I kinda miss my function keys (I'm a computer developer) but the functionality I get with the touch bar makes up for it, especially web browsing. Screen is amazing, I still get fingerprints on it... but looks fantastic! The wide trackpad is fantastic! I just love it. Everything is gorgeous and the UNIX based OS is great for development! I want to get apple everything... but I already have google music and apple is lagging behind in whole home speaker/assistant systems (GIVE ME A HOMEPOD MINI!) I can justify the cost by the quality of the computer and the length of time I KNOW it will remain functional for me. It will be worth it getting the bigger memory! I really can't stop, I just love it so much!
