Sadly, those models go to and stay with Apple stores. We had to do three OS upgrades to get this laptop current - and that was after waiting 10 days for the computer to be shipped to us... not from the factory, but rather 10 days to get the unit out of inventory in the Timbuktu store that had excess inventory, back to Best Buy Central and then by mail to me. I like Best Buy - I just wish they were more honest. This was not the “latest model.”

The best in its class

I am coming from an Apple Air, and I really like the upgraded technology. Just as importantly, I like the more solid construction of the MacBook Pro vs. the Air. No easily bent edges with the thicker alumninum. Dropped on hardwood floor from five feet and without a cover.... not a scratch on the MacBook.

Amazing machine

Everything about the machine has been perfect. It’s like a night and day difference from my base model 2016 MBP. The new keyboard is a pleasure to type on and noticeably improved. Definitely glad I snagged one when it was on sale, saving 200 bucks at the time makes the value even better.

Also I can download other apps that I was told by my friends that I couldn’t (Netflix) I will recommend the MacBook to everyone!! I just need to take a class to learn “how-to” lol I am not computer savvy!! But I’m learning!!

Dual booting!!

So it fit my needs and the support for Bootcamp and the software I use on Windows/Mac is usable with this computer. So an excellent choice for a computer. Good computer but gets very hot
