    I've always purchased the base model MacBook Pros but treated myself to this bad boy. Speed is very impressive and the screen quality is amazing. My only drawback is going from a 15" screen (MB Air) to the 14" screen. I miss that extra inch but everything else -- starting with the processing power -- pretty much makes up for it.

    Have been using this exactly for 1 year now, could not be happier. Have not had any issues with this macbook. I went with the option for 16gb memory and 1TB SSD and I have not had any issues with my computer freezing up on me or processing issues.
