Every few years I revisit Best Buy to see if they have gotten better. They haven't. I recently purchased a refurbished MacBook Pro. I get it home, and it has the wrong charger, even though it stated it would come with the MagSafe 2 Power adapter. Mistakes get made. I get it. But, I go to the store, and they say, they can't do anything since the device was shipped to their store, and that I need to call the customer service desk. The first person I spoke to, after selecting Computers from the automated line says he can't help me, and I need to be transferred to Part. Parts says they can't help me and that I should just replace the laptop. So they transfer me to sales. Sales is confused... and transfers me to the Refurbish department. I say to him that I recieved the wrong charger, and he says I need to go to the store I purchased it at. He can't help me... He "ain't the guy." At this point, I am beyond frustrated and tell him that I already talked to the store, and they said I needed to call the service line. He gets rude and says again that he isn't the guy to talk to. So I ask for his employee number, and ask to speak to someone else. He says if I want to talk to someone else to call back. I give him a compliment on his fine customer service skills and he hangs up on me. As a hail mary I try the chat. They also can't help me and say I can either initiate a full refund and return the device or I can go to the store and get the charger from them. Going to the store again to get turned away doesn't sound like a great plan, and the MacBook seems fine operationally, so I don't feel the need to return it. I ask can't I just get credited for a charger or something, and he says no. So, moral of the story... another unhappy customer from Best Buy who will not be surprised when they close their stores.

Bought this laptop for my partner. He is very satisfied with it. He uses it hours every day and has had absolutely no problems at all!
