For the money, this should be a much better machine. For starters, it doesn't have a touch screen, which it never even occurred to me to ask about....I thought all newer/expensive laptops had it. Also, this doesn't have regular USB ports. Ugh. I wish I had NOT purchased it.

Bought for school and should be all I need for next 4 yrs. was pricey but you get what you pay for. This is my second Mac and never have problems and support is better than windows machine.

This was bought for my granddaughter entering her freshman college year and she is thrilled with its performance. Takes it to class for note taking and is so pleased. Computer is a tremendous help.

My son took computer to college and it is great and the fact that it has anti virus already though apple was even better so don't have to deal with keeping track of an anti virus plan.

I'm a student; graphic design; excited for this amazing mac-book but it's been several months since my purchase (July) and this mac-book is starting to look like a doctor Seuss creation. Near the touch bar between the bottom of the screen and the top f the keyboard the computer dips/bend and then peaks and then dips down again. As I'm looking now it... it looks like rolling hills almost. I am sending it back for another and this isnt the first issue - upon arrival the mac-book was only in my possession for a week when i noticed the screen had a huge chunk missing out of the bottom part of the screen as if something had gotten squished in there and I'd shut the lip. And that's not possible I keep extremely clean work-space.. so after my mac book was returned to me with a new screen... there was suddenly a gray matte strip along the bottom of the screen almost as a buffer and it was certainly missing from the macbook originally. Hmmmm? ALSO THE CAMERA is absolute garbage

I converted from Windows to Mac since I have an iPhone and iPad. I love how seamlessly they communicate with each other. I'm still learning how to use the MacBook Pro but it's been great so far!

I'm so pleased that we were able to transfer all my data from my old laptop after it crashed to my new Apple! I'm learning my way around all the new tools and options at my fingertips!

I love my Apple MacBook. I have always wanted one and finally bit the bullet and bought one and don’t regret it. I have always had either a HP or Dell and I don’t think I will go back.

This replaces my mid 2012 MacBook. Wow what an upgrade. You'll especially love the fingerprint reader. No more typing passwords!!!!!!!!! Expensive but I think worth it.

This Apple MacBook Pro with the 15' display was purchased for a friend, when they didn't know how to buy things in a store, so I helped them out.

Always had a Windows OS laptop before but switched to an Apple this time and am very happy with that decision. There is a learning curve but not anything troublesome.

I have been wanting a Mac Book Pro since my freshman year in high school. Saved my money and finally purchased one before I head off to college. It was worth the wait. I love it!!

It’s an Apple, and you get what you expect for a little more money then it should cost. There were comparable or even better equipped PC laptops, but I’m happy I chose the MacBook.

This is the first time I have ever used a MAC. I am not much for doing reviews but this laptop is amazing and does everything that a MAC is known for. You won’t be dissipointed.

Was an anti Apple guy until just a few years ago. I don’t know why I held out so long. MacBooks just keep getting better and better!

We bought the computer for a graduation gift for our granddaughter, her old was at the end of the road and she really loves the MacBook Pro. Very knowledgable sales staff.

I did extensive research prior to this purchase in order to confirm that we bought a laptop that met the plethora of needs we share as a family. So excited about this piece!

So far I've had a blast working with this laptop. Though there are definitely cheaper options out there, I'm satisfied with my purchase. The build is great, the keyboard, though shallow, work very well for me, and I see why the trackpad is the best on the market. If you can afford this, have at it. It's really all preference.
