Nice laptop, on par with my XPS 15 9560... biggest annoyance is Apple's inability to put more RAM into the machine, they say it's because they don't want to drain the battery but there are plenty of Windows machines (my XPS) that can handle +GB of DDR4 just fine and still provide great battery life. In my opinion 16GB of DDR3 and not being able to upgrade when spending almost $3000.00 on a laptop is unacceptable, i'll deal with it for now as i only use this for some editing but that is very frustrating. It's a very clean, nice looking zippy machine that is for sure. It's supposed to be much brighter than my XPS 15 (300 nits) at 500+ nits but i don't see too much of a different. The build of the machine is rock solid and i actually like the 4 USB type C ports, not sure why so many people are throwing a fit about that as everything is moving in that direction. All in all this is a very nice laptop but i'd like to see the memory improved and the price dropped. I purchased the fully loaded version and after tax it's over $3000.00, add Applecare (3 years) and you're looking at closer to $3500.00. If you're an Apple person, then i would recommend, but if you're a PC guy i'd stick with my high end DELL XPS 15 9560. Also, forgot to mention the touchbar, touch ID, trackpad and keyboard. The touchbar has improved and is a useful tool if you ask me, the trackpad is massive, almost ridiculously big but i don't use it, i use an external mouse so i don't care either way. Touch ID has worked fine for when i need it (it doubles as the power button) and the keyboard, which many aren't too fond of, i happen to love, barely have to touch the keys and too me that feels really nice while typing.

I just wish it included an adapter to normal USB..

Son love it! He is going into Mechanical Engineering and really loves this lap top! NIce size and a lot of programs/data/memory for lots of school savings.....

Nothing to complain about this exceptionally built Macbook Pro in the stunning space gray color, but the new Mac OS must be updated. The previous OS X was way better.

Expensive for the value received. Poor connectivity. Touchpad not adjustible.

Just purchased this before the new model was announced but I totally like this one. I needed a replacement for my older 2009 model and this fits the bill.

Got this MacBook Pro for my daughter as she gets ready to head off to college. She loves it! Took advantage of a sale at Best Buy so got a good deal too.

I was hesitant to switch to an Apple computer due to the cost but it is so much easier and faster that any Windows computer I've ever had in the past.

My daughter loves her college gift. She uses it more than her iphone. No complaints from her as of yet
