Very powerful! Much better design than the previous Pros. They switched to 3 thunderbolt ports but they are very powerful.

Ridiculously fast processor, screen is sooooo vibrant, battery life is phenomenal. The only “drawback” is I didn’t realize how heavy it was. Highly recommend!!

Has been a huge upgrade from my previous M1 MacBook. This MacBook has significantly reduced the time of all 4K video editing and renderings. Was able to export an hour and a half long dance recital video in 4K in under 20 minutes!

I have fell in love with this MacBook. This is my first ever MacBook and I bought it for the Battery life and I am a computer science student who plans on keeping this laptop for 5 years and more. Going from Windows my whole life to this was not as bad as I thought. Getting used to the finder for files was the hardest thing but nothing that was impossible. Definitely watch some videos on apps to get to improve your experience. Also if you want to play games on your MacBook look up "Whisky". This basically emulates any windows app and I have stream on there and can play my favorite games and this computer handles them very well. SOmetime I think about if not getting the nano texture display was worth it because the glare is sometimes annoying but coming from an OLED screen, this doesn't have glare as bad as that. This MacBook is amazing though. I used it everyday.

As a software engineer I'll only ever buy a MacBook. My old Intel model still looks and works like new after four years of heavy use, which says everything about Apple's build quality. I was hesitant about the M4 chip, but my new machine is a powerhouse that hasn't failed me. Once you experience this level of performance and durability, there's no going back. Thank you Best Buy!

I have had and used the MacBook Pro since Nov 2024 (11 months). M4 chip is very fast. This is a very powerful machine and is capable of anything you throw at it.

This was a total splurge for me, although I bought it for $300 off on Black Friday. I’m typically a pc girl, but I have an iPhone and iPad, and they last me for many years at a time because of the high quality. When my 3 year old pc started breaking, camera stopped working, etc. I knew it was time to switch over to Mac for my laptop as well so I could get more years of use. This laptop is super heavy duty, huge screen and user friendly interface (especially if your familiar with Mac products.) The only thing that is taking some getting used to is the keyboard seems smaller/shorter than my last laptop, which I think is because they have upgraded speakers on each side of it. I really like how committed Apple is to user privacy and constantly updating virus protection, that sets it apart from PC as well.

Excellent product, comming from a 2020 mac book pro, intel chip, that was getting heat all the time, and throttling down, This one goes so fast, that seems to make it easy to run multiple apps at same time, even for me, as a developer that I need to work with a huge environment running in the background

This MacBook Pro with the M4 Pro chip is incredibly fast — perfect for multitasking, coding, and creative work. The 16-inch display is stunning, and the 48GB of memory ensures everything runs smoothly. It’s pricey, but worth it for performance and build quality.

The 48gb RAM is way better than 16gb of the base model which gets used up easily by games and chrome tabs. The bright screen is great even in the sun. The efficient processor and big battery means I only have to charge it every other day. The only negative is how expensive it is, but when I realized how much time and frustration I save when I spend more on the RAM upgrade it is still worth it.
