First time Mac owner, wow! is all I have to say. I've been a windows person since 1995! I come from using a Lenovo Legion gen 7. The change was kinda scary. I'm glad a made the switch! This is one of the best looking, well made, fine piece of machine I have laid hands on!

I purchased an asus laptop for $2000 to support my work in media content creation and other work related things like video editing and social media marketing. I was so overwhelmed with how much setting up it needs! I also tried to use adobe premier and there was an incompatibility issue. I had no patience to fix it especially after buying a brand new laptop. So I returned and got this laptop instead. I'm paying $2000 already might as well upgrade and get the best laptop ever. I have 0 complaints. I love everything about mac laptops. I opened the laptop and got to working immediately, I didn't have to set up a antivirus or log into a million thing. This one in particular is super fast, like light speed fast, graphics are amazing, colors popping, the whole thing. It's worth the money! It's been 3 months since I purchased it and my experience was great. Even if I don't have work to do, I think of something just to use the laptop it's that satisfying lol

Super fast and easy to navigate. I have been a Mac user for years and this machine awesome. The 36 GB memory and 500 GB SSD drive have no drag or delays when I have 2 screens and multiple spread sheets open. The 16' screen is nice and the unit lasts forever on battery!

Initially this laptop wouldn't connect to my network, and I ended up having to repair it while tethered to my samsung note 20 as a hotspot. I've isolated the issue, and it's been great so far. Very responsive and quick to open tasks.

The Ultimate Laptop for Power Users

Performance on Warp Speed: This laptop is a beast. The M3 Pro chip and 36GB of unified memory handle anything I throw at it, from video editing to 3D modeling, with nary a stutter. Multitasking feels effortless, and even the most demanding applications purr like kittens. Battery life is equally impressive, lasting a full workday (and sometimes longer) on a single charge. Display to Die For: The Liquid Retina XDR display is simply stunning. Colors are vibrant, blacks are inky, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything buttery smooth. Whether you're working on creative projects or binging your favorite shows, this display is a joy to behold. Keyboard Keys That Sing: The Magic Keyboard is, well, magical. The keys have a satisfyingly clicky feel, and the backlight makes late-night typing sessions a breeze. The addition of Touch ID is also a nice touch, adding an extra layer of security. The Not-So-Stellar Side: Now, for the not-so-great aspects. This laptop, let's face it, ain't cheap. Even with the base configuration, you're looking at a hefty price tag. And while the ports are versatile (Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, etc.), some might miss the convenience of an SD card reader or a full-size USB-A port. Additionally, the bezels, while thinner than previous models, still feel a bit chunky compared to some competitors. The Verdict: So, would I recommend this MacBook Pro? It depends. If you're a creative professional or someone who demands top-tier performance and a gorgeous display, then absolutely. But if you're on a tight budget or don't need the raw power this machine offers, other options might be more suitable. Ultimately, the decision comes down to your individual needs and priorities.

    My 3rd MB Pro

I'd consider myself a power user. This is my 3rd MB Pro. My last one was a 2019 with an Intel Core i9 and 16gb of ram. This machine is light years ahead of that. I'm driving two external monitors - 32" and 27" with ease. There's no more bouncing beach balls, no more noisy cooling fans (the M chips don't need them), and the battery life is excellent.

Incredible speed and performance. It has taken me awhile to get use to the Mac ecosystem and OS, but well worth the swap for this beast. Though keep in mind if you’re traveling a lot it is a BEAST and a snug fit in most 16” sleeves. Makes for a great screen on the go but not so great for airport security if you have to remove it and put it back in a flash. (Pro 16GB model here) but speaking of travel. The battery life is absurd, and the ability to charge off of any USBC in a pinch makes it a great travel buddy in that regard. I slightly wish I had gone for the 14” model but per reviews stuck to the 16 for increased cooling capacity. (One of my biggest complaints with the surface pro I was replacing was heat).

Everything about this laptop is phenomenal. It's fast, well-built, the screen is jaw-dropping, and the battery life... my goodness the battery life. It's nothing short of amazing. I can't really say much that dozens of other reviewers haven't already said. It's a beast and I have no regrets. I personally really like the Space Black finish, but of course that's all down to personal preference. Overall an A+ from me and a very worthwhile upgrade from my 2017 machine.

so far I'm loving it! Coming from previously using intel pros, and iMacs. I finally pounced, on a m3 pro. Final cut is running smooth with other windows open during work flow. Wanted more storage than 512gb, but I will make it work. Find my self watching Apple TV and Youtube late at night with it, and just enjoying the display. I love my 5k 27" iMac, but this display rivals it well, and I am choosing to enjoy the m3 pro, over my LG C2 to consume content. Overall very impressed so far. Export time I'm content with. Liked the idea of beefing up with the 36gb of ram. I love my new Pro, and space black makes it all that much more cool, even if its not that black !!

This machine is amazing in its speed and power. The screen is beautiful and I have yet to find anything to slow it down. The biggest downside is that it is heavy. But, that does add to how sturdy it feels.

For work back in 2017 my job gave me a macbook pro and got to keep it when I left that job. I was willing to die on the Intel based Macbooks as the thing was a beast until it died. Going kicking and screaming to an M based chip - alas I was forced to as I like Mac's for photography & video editing. And man am I glad I did. I got the 16" Pro with M3 Pro, 36GB Ram. I still wished it had a dedicated GPU but this keeps up really well. This thing is a best - it feels hefty, really well built. Gorgeous screen, long battery life, sounds awesome. Clearly there are other laptops that exceed these specs so there's definitely an apple tax at play here - but still - I'm happy with this purchase.

This is an amazingly fast computer... if you're a content creator, this is the sweet spot for mobile workstation. M3 chip for GPU acceleration & A.I. -- you can't go wrong, and the battery on this thing lasts forever! Seriously, you can work all day for like 3 days, unplugged! The screen is in a class of its own... there's literally no comparison out there -- BEAUTIFUL.

I upgraded from the mid 2014 MacBook Pro 15" with 16GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. This is an incredible upgrade for me and was long overdue. I'm a software engineer and entrepreneur. My business involves me editing pictures and videos from my GoPro HERO9 Black or my iPad Pro/iPhone Pro Max. This computer definitely provides me full assurance that it'll serve my needs now and well into the future. I ended up exchanging the 18GB model for the 36GB model and am glad I did.
