This is my second macbook pro over the last few years. I got the base version as I dont need the extra memory. Miss the dvd drive but I have an external if needed. Love the quick book and ease of use. I also use parallal when needing to do work from a windows OS, in which I loaded windows 10 and only allocated 2gb of the 8gb of ram. And with this, it runs 5x faster than my previous Dell laptop that had 8gb of ram.

I had an earlier version macbook pro, pretty similar as far as functionality goes. With the new solid state drive the computer is definitely a lot faster, although I am having trouble with the computer where it keeps disconnecting wifi at various locations. Over all I am pleased with the purchase, yet I may have to bring it in to be checked out with the wifi issue.

It took some time switching from a windows computer to MAC but after learning the computer, I fell in love. Being able to text on the computer is pretty awesome feature for me.

Waited and waited on this and I'm glad I did as Best Buy put it on sale and then price matched it down even further to another competitor and that had discounted down even more. My first Mac and I'm blown away by its speed and ability. Make take some getting used to on my part as I've only used HP's but I do not think it will be a challenge. It's a beautiful machine and I'm glad I finally own it.

I love my MacBook! I like that the pro has more space on it than the air. I am always using the apps for work or school or just personnel things! Goes great with my iPhone

I love my laptop, it is light weight, and very easy to take anywhere I go.

This machine does everything I need and more. Fast processing and comfortable design.

This is my first time buying Mac. I was hesitating to buy Mac first time since I didn't know how to use their OS. After few hours later it became best laptop that I ever had.

I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I was initially reluctant on spending so much on a mac, but I am happy with the result and am sure my son will enjoy using it in college.

I really like my MacBook Pro! I debated a few years about making the switch. Then my friend got one, and I set hers up. Wow! The speed was awesome. I waited a week or so and got mine. Glad I did. Fast start up. Everything else in the Apple ecosystem works along with iCloud, so I don't have to copy to a flash drive to transfer what I am working on. Only wish I got a larger SSD, but there are workarounds for that.

Great computer and super fast. Best battery life out of any computer I have ever owned

There is finally some serious competition with retina macbook pro's, but the trackpad is still first in class, and it runs both windows and os x, giving it extra versatility.

Bought for my new college student, she loves it. Great product, lightwieght and powerful.

I personally am NOT an Apple person, but my daughter is. We got this got her. It's what she wanted and working in the IT field I know they are a lasting product. First one had an issue in the first week (hence the 4 not 5 stars) but Best Buy/Apple replaced it with a new one and no questions and it has been good since. Working great and doing what she wants it to.

This is user friendly, fast and slick. I love it and will be using it for my Art Projects.

Great laptop overall. A bit expensive, but perfect for My school work.

I love how light the laptop is. I am able to take it everywhere. Love how fast it works!
