I am so glad I waited for the touch bar model before upgrading from HP to Macintosh. The overall quality of the machine and ease of use definitely outweighs the price. Slight learning curve but nothing major. Wish it had built in USB ports instead of the cable attachments you have to purchase separately.

I've had just about every MacBook Pro since the Titanium in the early 2000s. I love this new MacBook Pro in space gray. The color is amazing, it's super lightweight (makes my 2011 version feel like a brick), and the touchbar is cool. I'm sure it will have more features in the future. System is fast, beautiful retina screen, and very quiet keyboard. It took a few days to get used to the keyboard.

Touch bar works wonderful, easy to setup and a lot of future enhancements! 512 of SSD runs smoothly! Don't think it twice, best computer around!

The new MacBook pro layout with touch bar is fantastic. The new keys make typing a breeze and the limit on ports ( 4 usb c) makes the laptop as thin as humanly possible. I have switched back to Safari now because of the great features with the touch bar. I def recommend this--- the Space Grey color is also pretty nice looking-- but I prefer my old fashion mac Silver Color

Bought this as a gift and the person who received it loves it. The touch bar provides a lot of cool capabilities although it hasn't reached it's potential. There are so many more applications it could/should be used for and I imagine those functions and features are down the road. Great performance and speed though. If you are in the market for a new laptop and need it NOW, this is a good one to go with. If you can wait another year or so, I think the functionality will be so much better. I also don't usually recommend a macbook pro for someone who has never used a mac and/or is planning on using it for very basic word processing. If you do video/audio editing, then this is the machine. It helps that I got a killer deal on it.

Ok here is a review about as real as it gets! I wanted the 2015 MacBook Pro, I did NOT want touch bar and I did NOT want to lose all my USB ports, SD etc... and I did NOT want to deal with dongles! BUT BB ran out of this laptop in my area, but took my money. I was mad on the day my laptop was supposed to be here, after long thought process of whether to get new one or not. It never came. They messed up. And it was my gain, they prove matched the discount price of previous years machine and gave me the new MacBook Pro with touch bar for sale price: I saved like $600.00 due to sale price I purchased it. I have to say, I bought some connectors at Apple for USB-C cause they were on sale and even got an external drive for 50% off at Apple and found a thumb drive with USB-C and USB on it for $15. I am more than satisfied. It's fast, touch bar is kinda cool. I love the finger print sensor to login. Machine is fast. USB-C data transfer is off the chart, Bluetooth and wifi are awesome. I love this laptop. Thank you wifey for upgrade!

I'm not an avid computer person but as always my Mac is easy to use and I love the new touch bar!

This laptop is super fast and easy to use. I personally use it for college and it is very light and easy to take to class. The touch bar really adds to the MacBooks in general and the quality of the picture is hard to beat! Although expensive, they last forever! Highly recommended.

Just upgraded to the new MacBook Pro from my older MacBook pro and am really liking the new touch bar and functionality. I travel a lot and the new MacBook is extremely light and portable. Very fast and easy to port over all my old data. Apple continues to impress.

I was on the fence about purchasing a Macbook Pro with the touchbar, and I'm very glad I did. I love that you can customize it to meet your needs, and within certain apps, the touchbar changes to make everything easier for you. One of my favorite things is how it shows emojis. I love using emojis in my messages and the touchbar makes accessing them so easy! The touch ID feature is great too!

Fast, quiet, small, light, beautiful laptop computer. Haven't used the touch bar much yet. This will take some getting used to. My hand still stays mainly rested on the track pad. I thought it was a lot of money when I bought it, but I've never had a regret.

This is my first Macbook pro, I have had Windows PC my whole life so I was scared to switch laptops but when I did I was completely changed by how much faster and more capable a MacBook Pro is than my windows laptop. The operating system can be difficult at times to do some things but maybe that is just me because I am new, there is a leaning curve when first using the MacBook Pro, everything is in a different spot but you can do so much more than any windows laptop, I would highly recommend switching to a Apple laptop if you are on the fence about switching, you don't necessarily have to go with the pro if you don't need all of the capability but if you have some extra money to spend then definitely go for the MacBook Pro over the lower models, it will be worth it. Don't cheep out and not get the touch bar because it is more expensive, it is worth every penny.

The specs of the new MacBook Pro are impressive. Everything just works, well and fast. The Touch Bar is not world-changing, but it sure is fun to use and have. The weight is also surprising, it's the lightest laptop I have even owned.

Well can’t say much more than smooth, fast and gorgeous! I bought this for travel to replace my still functioning MacBook Air 2011 version. No comparison but I expected that. The USB C 3.0 and 3.1 are the future. Yes it’s a little cumbersome but I got used to it. I got a great deal on the late 2016 and don’t regret it one bit.
