Purchased my iMac this year and it came with a magic keyboard and mouse but working with photos I like using a trackpad. I had an older model of track pad that depended on batteries. The new Magic Trackpad simply plugs in to the computer to recharge. No more worrying about leaking batteries. I love the feel and it works like a dream.

My track pad on my Mac quit functioning. I purchased this track pad instead of sending my Mac off for 2-3 weeks to replace. Takes a few times of getting use to, but once you do, it's better than a mouse.

My iMac was going haywire and I suspected it might have been the trackpad. Fortunately I was right. The Trackpad 2 is a marked improvement, being able to be recharged via a USB connection instead of having to replace batteries. I highly recommend it for any trackpad user.

Works wonderfully with my MacBook Air and connects very quickly. It’s very reposing, no lags and works just as good as the trackpad on the laptop. I initially purchased a mouse and hated it. I really like the trackpad better and I don’t have to use up more space on the desk like a mouse does.

Get it, you need it if you have an iMac. Gestures are amazing.

3 stars, mainly because it's so expensive. as far as funtionality on a mac goes, it's flawless, pairing is flawless, etc. traditional apple quality. works nearly as good as the touchpad on my macbook pro. BUT, when connected to pc. it's just a plain old touchpad, with none of the gestures ability. I think, paying the apple tax on this is only worth it, if you absolutely need it, or if you are using a mac mini. if you are using a laptop, just get a mouse.

Really nice trackpage - definitely upgraded over the first generation. I like the USB charging for it via lightning cable. It's just expensive though.

Quality product & it is expected from Apple. The price is a little steep!

Hands-down the best benefit/improvement is the charging method. The fact that I don't have to hassle with batteries makes the cost of this upgrade worth it for me. I wasn't sure that I would like the white finish over the matte stainless of its predecessor, but it quickly realized that's not important or even something I notice. Overall, I am not disappoint.
