Best Method for Moving Around the 27"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially reluctant to buy the MagicTrackpad when I got a 27" iMac, but I am very glad that I did! With the size of the screen it takes several passes with my mouse to move across the screen. The TrackPad allows me to move anywhere on the screen quickly and easily. With the multiple gestures you can use if can do much more than the MagicMouse. I still use a Magic Mouse, but am trilled that I purchased the TrackPad.

Great mouse alternative + More
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this thing. As a graphic designer I use a number of peripherals and this is one of the more versatile. I even use it as with a stylus for precise illustration needs. You can use software to further customize the gestures according to your workflow. I always have it handy (as can be seen in the photo).

Perfect mouse replacement
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best companion to my iPad Pro! The surface is perfect as area amount. Not small, not too big. In combination to my iPad external keyboard my iPad Pro has been reborn! I’m glad that I bought it. Yes it work perfectly with my MacBook Pro, but there is big enough trackpad with it. I’m still experimenting, but it is a wonderful accessory. I do not use my mouse anymore even for excell sheets. Recommend it!

Apple Trackpad
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The trackpad is great to use. It's more comfortable than the standard mouse. It takes a little getting used to, but once you understand it, it becomes a natural component of your desktop.

Worth every penny
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have recently decided to abandon Windows OS forever, so I got the Mac mini for my big monitor and I needed all the accessories for the mini. This trackpad is absolutely magic, functions well and smooth without needing to use a mouse, soft touch and responsive. High quality and worth every penny.

love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical at first, I always preferred a mouse over a laptop touchpad but this had great reviews so I gave it a try. I have to say that I love this trackpad. It's huge and easy to use, I actually prefer this to my PC mouse. All the macbook gestures work as expected. The charge seems to last forever, I have not plugged it in to charge in 2 weeks and it still has 91% battery life.

Loving the Magic Trackpad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Magic Trackpad 2 is a fantastic addition to my recently purchased 27" iMac 5K. I thought I would give the Magic Mouse a try since it came with the computer, but after a couple of days I was really missing the trackpad from my Macbook Pro. The Magic Trackpad 2 works exactly as expected, with all the familiar gestures. The haptic feedback is a nice feature, as I didn't have this on my older Macbook Pro. Using the trackpad is also much more comfortable, at least for me, compared to the Magic Mouse. I strongly recommend the Magic Trackpad 2 as an accessory for any iMac or Macbook user.

No More AA Batteries
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is much better than the old original trackpad. Built in, long lasting battery Wider Sits Flatter My y old trackpad used AA batteries which I ha hated to have to change. This one has an internal rechargeable, long lasting battery. Works great with a larger area of use and it sits flatter which is easier on the wrist. A great replacement to my old trackpad!

Q: QuestionIs it a keyboard?
Asked by Rickdiefenderfer.
- A:Answer No. It is similar to a touch pad on the laptop. You slide your finger(s) across the surface to move the cursor, fields, etc. You can use other gestures and press movements to open menus typically associated with the mouse or changing screens. I place it next to the keyboard and use it in place of the mouse. It is much more effective than the mouse without the wide range of movements the mouse requires for a 27" monitor.

Q: QuestionCan the apple magicpad work well windows 10
Asked by Bruce.
- A:Answer Well... It is kinda complicated. If the purpose is to use a trackpad on a Windows-only PC, then don't consider this trackpad. You need to install special software which makes it barely work with a few gestures. If you don't install the software, it only accepts clicks, no gestures whatsoever. However, if you are on a Mac and using Bootcamp to run Windows 10, then the trackpad works fine. So it really depends on the scenario.

Q: QuestionCan the trackpad be used with a Mac Mini?
Asked by tltcajun.
- A:Answer Yes...I’m currently using my 2nd gen Magic Trackpad with a 2012 Mac Mini. Even though Apple says you need a newer Mac with Bluetooth 4.0 it still worked fine with my older Mac. Just plugged it in using the USB cable to to Mac, and it synced up immediately, and has been working fine wireless ever since. I think the requirement for BT4.0 is actually due to BT4.0 being better with power...so their battery life ratings require it.
