    Apple's best mouse!

This mouse is a pleasure to use. I bought this for use with my MacBook Pro. Very easy set-up. Just turn on the mouse, open up System Preferences and click on the mouse icon. Then select Set Up Bluetooth Mouse... it took a couple minutes for it to be recognized but after that it was smooth sailing. Another great Apple product! *** After having used this mouse for a while I noticed that the aluminum underside (on mine at least) has started to deteriorate where my fingers come in contact with the aluminum. It has an acid erosion type of look. So its probably a good idea to wipe off your oily skin/fingers from the bottom of the mouse often.

This is a great mouse which is made specifically for Apple computers. Pairs & customizes easily for your individualized preference settings in system preferences. Won't work well if it's not used on a mouse pad. On a mouse pad though I would not recommend any other brand mouse besides Apple.

With its sleek design, this mouse connects in seconds with no need for plug-in receivers. The bluetooth technology is excellent, always reconnect with no need for annoying tweaks (as most bluetooth devices sometimes do). Very well built, it feels comfortable and solid. It has great sensitivity/responsiveness and offers more gestures that I would ever use. Gotta say, I was expecting to be more consistent with the laptop mouse pad, but you get used to it fast enough. Very pricey compared to PC mouses, but I guess this comes standard in the MAC world.

Incredible Technology in the palm of your hand

After owning this product for well over a year, I find that the Apple Magic Mouse is one of the most incredible products sitting on my desk. Along the Magic Trackpad (another excellent product), makes for the best combination of precision control of your computing experience. While the Magic Trackpad provides an overall control of the power of OS X: Lion, the Magic Mouse provides the precision needed for selecting text, graphics and screen captures that are pixel-precision accurate. If used alone, you may experience cramps in your wrist, but when combined with the Magic Trackpad, makes for the precision that you will find yourself using time after time. I have tried mice from other manufactures, but while they will give you extra buttons, what they lack is the precision to control your mouse pointer without frustration. Also, the surface of the Magic Mouse allows you to glide your fingers to scroll. You will be used to finger based gestures from the Magic Trackpad and that is why the Magic Mouse is the perfect companion. As you switch from one "Magic" device to the other, you will understand this product. Also, this product makes a great gift for any Mac user who does not have one. Recommended: Yes

This mouse was bought as a gift for the new MacBook Pro that I had purchased for my mother. I have purchased this product a couple years ago myself for my own personal use for my own MacBook Pro, & let me tell you that this mouse doesn't disappoint! I has so many features, uses & quick use tricks that no other mouse can even comes close to rivaling it. I've had mine for over 2 years with no issues & honestly have only had to change the batteries twice. (It comes with Energizer batteries too!) It makes running programs as well as Internet browsing exponentially easier due to all its functions. It will take a few days to get used to & learn how to apply all the features.

I bought this to replace a wireless 2.4 GHz mouse I had previously owned that had terrible connection problems. The bluetooth connectivity is the better way to go. The mouse has a sleek design and smooth scrolling across all surfaces I've placed it on. The battery is still at 100% after weeks of use and believe that come with it will last awhile. Some reviewers on here have complained about wrist pain after using it, but I have yet to and I use it for hours on end playing games. It has the trackpad swipe features to it as well so it's nice to have the freedom from the trackpad from time to time. It's a great extension to the Apple experience.

These devices are sturdy and stylish. Their low profile takes some getting used to but once you get beyond the initial hand cramping after coming from a larger mouse, one eventually comes to appreciate the myriad ways this mouse helps with productivity. Between swiping gestures and motion actuations you can accomplish more in a shorter time by not having to move your hand and subsequent focus away from the mouse. The bluetooth is flawless, not unlike the venerable logitech unifying technology- it just works.

I have purchased and used several different types of mouse / pointing devices for my Mac's. The Magic Mouse is by for the best. Compact and stylish it looks really sleek. The touch capabilities on it give you the benefit of a trackpad with the better control of a standard mouse. The bluetooth connection is fast and easy to setup. The battery lasts a long time as well. And the mouse itself is very sturdy and durable. My first magic mouse is now 6 years old and still works like a champ after lots of abuse.

Pairs with my MacBook seamlessly, does all the extra apple functions and feels good in your hand. I would recomend this mouse over the cheaper name brands just because it can do all the extra gestures native to macs. It is very well made and takes regular batteries. I believe 2AA. I would have to look again to be sure but its been awhile. I am still running on the batteries that came with it which is 3months now.

The Apple Magic Mouse is a great add on for any Apple desktop or laptop. Battery life is very sufficient, I haven't ran out yet. the mouse is super smooth with no latency and / or lag in response. Super easy set up and batteries are included. I recommend if you're looking save space, and cut down on clutter especially on the go. Wireless is nice.

Excellent quality. Although the price is a little higher to similar products out there, the quality of it surpasses the likes of Logitech and Microsoft options. It is durable, easy to clean. Connects via bluetooth in seconds and there is no need for any extra dongles.

It works great, got me through my class, battery still going. Lots of cool finger moving options I'm still getting used to, but programmable to how you like it. Lastly, I liked the plastic case it came in for storage and travel. It's the little things.

I use both Mac and Windows (and thier associated products), but I must say, this mouse, along with the rest of Apple's products feel premium. The mouse has a weighted feel which is pleasing because it feels substantial in the hand (without feeling heavier than desirable). I also enjoy the authoritative click when I press down, again making the mouse feel substantial. I'm still becoming aquatinted with the touch gesture features as I go, but they are easy to learn. I think my favorite part of this mouse is the build materials, because I feel the higher price did in fact give me a higher quality product. I use the MagicTrackpad too and that is even better, but for those who prefer a mouse, this is a product I would recommend or at least consider.

Although its not perfect, you can't deny its design. It looks amazing. For everyone that just needs a 2 button mouse, this is the one you should go with. If you need more than 2 buttons, yeah you best look elsewhere. Since the top is a seamless surface the scrolling is amazing. Though I have noticed with my wife if her nails are slightly longer, she struggles with the scrolling. It lays really flat, and if you are used to having a ball in your hand, this will take some time getting used to. I recently purchased another one, after I accidentally stepped on my other. The scrolling and tracking worked, just stopped clicking. I have been using the Magic Mouse since it was released. Its the only mouse for me.

I wasn't sure about buying the mighty mouse, I bought a Mac Mini and a wireless keyboard but not the mouse. Later I decided to get it. Its wonderful. I love the mouse and all the things you can to with it. Love the design and how well it responds to all gestures. It works just like a track pad and a mouse all in one. My only complain is that I had to manually connect it to my MacMini because It wasn't being picked up by my machine, and it disconnects frequently from my Mac when I'm in the middle of something. But after a few moments, it reconnects by itself again. It gets annoying after awhile.

Overall the magic mouse works excellent. It is slightly sensitive and I find it zooms in on webpages without me intending it to. Battery life lasts roughly about a month and it is nice to just scroll using a finger instead of a wheel.
