I use this mouse instead of my Mac Pro Trackpad. It scrolls with simple finger movements and it point with amazing accuracy. I highly recommend disabling the trackpad when using the mouse. Also, the mouse is small, light weight and easy to store. Rechargeable AA batteries will also work in this mouse.

The Magic Mouse is nice and very easy to use. It's easy enough for my kids to use (both are under 5 yrs) and small enough to store in the sleeve with my MacBook! Win-win

Purchased with a new MAC Book Pro and found it to be easier to become familiar with than the TRAC PAD. So if your a mouse user - then feel confident you will adapt to the apple way of doing things easier than other apple applications. Note: - I'm a new apple user so I might be lacking in sufficient apple knowledge - but have found it doesn't do all applications of the TRAC PAD. So - for the basics - it is a nice mouse.

Functionality is perfect, providing opportunity to interface with your computer the same way you already interact with your familiar iPhone or iPad. Battery life is excellent. Bluetooth connectivity is awesome for my setup: I have the Mac connected to my tv and in a close on the other side of the wall, no issues whatsoever. Setup is a cinch. Even bought another one for my parents after setting them up on a new Mac Mini.

Fits perfect in the palm of my hand, making it easier to use. This is my 2nd Magic Mouse never had any problems.Super responsive and accurate . Spilled my coffee over the first one, little guy still kinda worked,it would scroll except when needing to click on a link etc it would not respond. So awesome mouse and highly recommend!

This mouse although not great for gaming or anything requiring fine responsiveness, is perfect for day to day use of a Mac. The mouse fits comfortably in the palm of your hand as well as just about any carrying bag you might use because of it's flat design. The mouse, like all Apple products is very minimalist, but it provides you with everything you need to get work done. Although it has no buttons, it has a right and left click. The surface of the mouse is also multitouch allowing you to do things such as flicking between desktops, horizontally and vertically scrolling, and a variety of other shortcuts. The only real gripe I have about this mouse is the asking price of $70. There are much better mice that can be had for this price (like the Razer Taipan or Razer Death Adder), but once again, this mouse is made to be the companion to your Apple computer. Lastly, be sure to turn it off when you aren't using it...the battery will die very quickly.

It is pricey but the mouse has lots of gestures and really handy to have with your MAC!

I recently bought a new iMac with the track pad. But I missed having a mouse. I bought the Apple Magic Wireless Laser Mouse with gesture control. I got a mouse with the gesture controls of my trackpad. Now you don't get all the gestures that comes with the trackpad. But those few extra gestures I don't use. There is an added benefit, this mouse works with my Macbook Pro and with my Alienware computer.

Magic Mouse is a good name for this critter. I use both a PC and a Mac. The Magic Mouse puts any of the wireless mice I have used in the past, on either platform, to shame. I have a large hand and thought the slim low profile would be an issue, instead I find the the flexabilty and range of functions I can select for this critter make it a pleasure to use. I particularly enjoy the scrolling.
