This is a genuine adapter from Apple. Not much to say other than it works as expected. It's quite pricey, being an Apple product, but that is certainly expected.

In my mind this is the weak point of the MacBook Pro laptops. My old cable kept getting kinked when I put the cable away and eventually torn to pieces and had to be replaced. I do love the magnetic connection, it's very clever. My MacBook Pro has already gone through 2 cables, this being the third. Quality machines, not so much the cables.

Works great—just too freakn expensive since it’s for an old Mac! And for that price it should’ve some with something to store it in when not in use.

Although the price is high, it only makes sense to replace with the real thing. Otherwise, it the end you end up putting out more money.

Apple 's replacement unit for MacBook, same as original equipment. Best Buy price can't be beat

this was for my son's MacBook and he was more then happy to have it. I have always found what I need in electronics at Best Buy

Good price for a great product. I got lucky and found an open box which was 20+ bucks less than original. And it was in perfect condition

This works good but I was frustrated that the one that came with the computer frayed to the point it didn't work anymore.

I purchased the wrong item and during a trip to Atlanta i was able to exchange my item for the correct one.

It was available. I was looking for an open box item or something cheaper but the advantage if that they have in stock and you just need to go and buy it.

While product works as needed, pricing seemed high. This was a replacement as the cord frayed on original - seems for the price should have lasted longer.

I don’t like the new usbc so I will hold on to megsafe MacBook Pro as long as I can!

Needed a replacement charger for my Mac... got the more powerful charger. Work as it should. Haven't had any issues.

No issues with this replacement charger. I used a similar one for 4 years before the original one died. Does the job.
