We purchased the Apple 85w Macbook pro laptop charger and it is like all Apple products packaged and designed well.

Pretty much, the only option for powering! If you need power for any Apple devices your options are pretty much limited.

This is my third charger for the MacBook Pro I purchased in 2011. The plastic casing just wears and bends at the joints and eventually stops working. It might have been my fourth but I kept repairing the second one with Sucru plastic until even that gave out. Maybe I am hard on these things but I would like to see a better design. I dont know of anything else I can use. They are expensive and I wish they would recycle the parts because it is only the wire that gives out.

I could have purchased an aftermarket charger, but I wanted only a genuine Apple product, so I had to pay the higher price.

I love Apple products but wish they weren't so expensive. Got to have a charger though, so I'm happy Best Buy conveniently has them in stock.
