This charging cord was exactly what I needed to replace my old one which was worn and no longer working.

As with all Apple products this items works great and replaced the original 7 year old power adapter.

Its a but pricey but I've had bad experience with other brands. I would recommend the original one.

This is the fourth Apple MagSafe 85W Power Adapter for 15" MacBook® Pro I've had to purchase in the life of my mid-2010 15" Macbook Pro. That averages about two years per power supply which is terrible for such an expensive item. Apple has since improved their power adapters away from this poor design, but I have little choice, but to add, what amounts to, ±$45/year in maintenance costs to replace this component. Sadly, as you would have no other choice but to replace your faulty power adapter with this Apple product, any recommendation is irrelevant without an alternative option to chose from. Though I am an avid Apple product user (I've kept this laptop running for over a decade through multiple battery changes, keyboard, hard drive, and touchpad swaps), I have to admit that not everything they have designed works well. If you have to buy one of these, this may be one time where the extended warranty makes sense.

It's an apple power charger. There's never any variation to apple products so it is what it is. These things cost too much though.

Usually don't but opened boxed items but great markdown and just like new. HAPPY CAMPER

The adapter works great, just make sure to wrap up the cable loosely.

I have no issues with this cord. I plugged it into my MacBook Pro and it charged.
