    I recently purchased this item. So far, no problem. I had purchased one in which the cord just disintegrated after a year or so of use. No abuse or misuse. The product just didn't hold up. If the one I just bought holds up, I will be happy to report on that. In the meantime, the cost is pretty high for something which not exhibited very good quality.
