    So far, it is working well. The design is much improved over the previous "T" connection version. The connection can now run along side the computer instead of creating the bend at the "T," which is where the problem with my other adapter occurred The A/C adapter still seems to get excessively hot.

    buy this product to replace my 2nd adapter. I wish Apple would make it more durable on the connection of the wire and the adapter.And it think it is so expensive. Also, If only I can buy the wire because I dont need the entire adapter, maybe it will be cost effective. But when this one breaks I have to buy the entire adapter again. No other replacement choice.
