    I recommend purchasing a Power Adapter if you are investing in an Apple product. It's unfortunate you have to spend so much for a replace part or even need a replace part after purchasing one of their devices. Shop around for the best price available. Invest in two if you can afford it because the wire is not durable.

    Works fine but it is a very costly replacement part. Could be better engineered as my original had the wire fray right at the point the cord enters the power supply. First time I've ever had a laptop power supply fail for this reason -- poor design on Apple's part.
