    Apple corners the market on their products so you dont have many options when it comes to replacing this charger. My previous charger shorted and the wire burned through the coating, so I can't say this is the best charger and it is a bit pricey. But it works.

    Pretty much the only option if you need a power cord for your mac so nothing to compare it to, but even though they claim to have improved them to be more resistant to wear, I still find myself replacing them too frequently.
