A great charger, just kind of pricey for what it is...

This item is exactly what you are getting. Just be careful to baby it as the rubber casing around the wire tends to deteriorate with time. My chargers tend to last about 2 years of being shoved in and out of a backpack before they need replacement.

This is my second one since I’ve had my MacBook from 2013. They are built to last!

It is WAY over priced. Apple has a monopoly on this device of course. You have to use it on their laptops. It's our third one. The power cord is a thin, too soft, cheap plastic that wears out, peels and cracks off exposing the wires. The cord is the "designed weakness" on this thing and if not keep perfectly straight all the time (which is impossible) it will bend and crack. And it has failed twice now. The power supply is not the problem. The cheap Chinese made plastic cord, IS.

I had to purchase this power adapter because my other one became frayed and posed a fire hazard. The cord does not appear to be of the same quality as my laptop. ... I suggest that Apple improve its quality control on this item...

Great tracks throughout -- can have continous play.

Since we had this laptop we’ve bought four characters, it seems to always break at the same place every time. This item is too costly in price to be so fragile. You should sell the parts separate for less.

This adapter charges fast; however, based on the design structure, the cord doesn’t last long and loosens from the outlet and Macbook.

The power adapter that came with my computer lasted for many years, but eventually the cord got cut. The new replacement that I bought burned out after only two years... bummer.

Of course apple make a failure product that the magnet can go out on and the cord can easily be damaged and have to be replaced for 80$. Someone needs to tell them, that the charging cord doesn't come with adobe photo shop. It's a simple cord...

I am a repeat consumer of Apple laptops, which are built to last. Happy with the Macbook Pro, frustrated with their power cords. For $80.00 they should hold up to normal wear and tear.

This is my third magsafe in 2 years. The build quality of the charger wire is cheap, it breaks after a couple months of use. To replace it you have to spend almost 100 dollars for a charger. That's just ridiculous. Other computers have 3rd party chargers that are dirt cheap, but Apple doesn't allow that, forcing you to buy an overpriced charger that will break in a couple of months. The one good thing I have to say is that it gets the job done when it does work.

Apple chargers are notoriously bad. They don't last as long as they should for how much you have to pay. Consistency is also an issue, I have had them last a few months to a few years.

These chargers are expensive for how long they last. I have gone through several of them because they twist and the plastic coding around the end of the charger the connects to the computer. Then the wires break. There is no other charger to use.
