Apple could design this better by stabilizing the cord near the magsafe connector. Not sure that the L-design is any better than the T-design. For the price, you'd think they could figure out how to make a power cord that doesn't short out.

4th adapter for wife's MacBook pro, these things don't hold up well at all! primary issue we have seen is the cable fraying between the brick and the laptop fraying over time

My computer is old. However, this product is still fit my computer.

I have no choice but to buy one of these things practically on an annual basis because the cord frays and then shorts out. Unacceptable product quality. Would not buy again if I had a choice

You buy this product out of need. It seems like I have to have it replaced every couple of years. This is my third charger hopefully it will last a little longer than the other two.

Product works as advertised, I needed a replacement and this was my only reliable option. Price is a drawback, and it is a bit annoying knowing you have to purchase it anyway to retrieve info off your laptop.

Not much to say. It's a power cord. But, man oh man...these things are expensive. I had to replace it because the coating on the wire wore out and exposed the wire. I've had this happen a number of times with these Apple power cords.

It's great OEM charger. It works on my Mac awesome and I always recommend OEM chargers especially when it comes to charging your devices.

the magsafe 85w power adapter from apple is an adequate device but has a tendency to tear at the point of the connection between the cord and the power adapter itself.

WIth these cords it's all a matter of how long on god you can make it last I have had a Mac book for 7 year so and needed to buy 3. And I take care care of them too. If you have pets, keep them away from these

I have had three of these so far for my macbook pro. However they keep dying left and right! Apple Warranty is only a year so I am forced to kepe purchasing these adapters.

This is the 3rd time I've had to replace this power adapter, It works great...until is burns out or breaks. Unfortunately, this is the only product I can use to charge my laptop.

The charger works well; Apple products usually do. However, the casing around the thin cable near the connector on one that came with my laptop melted from heat given off by the laptop. This is the only one available.

When it comes to MacBook chargers, there’s no replacement like the actual apple product. However... I lowered the rating because I’ve had to replace them a few times - and they’re over priced!

No issues. Genuine Apple product. It works great! This is better than the aftermarket products

This cord breaks too easily, poor design. This is the 3rd one I've had, and I take good care of my things. It just bends in the wrong place and eventually gets ruined.

This is the second charge power adapter I have owned. The first one that came with the computer burned my skin, this one also gets extremely hot.

Suppose I can call myself lucky that the last charger lasted for a little over two year. Many I know say theirs only last a yr or so. 3 out of 5 because Apple's charging cables just don't last long.

In my opinion it's better to buy one of these to replace a broken charger than to buy something cheap (and potentially unsafe) online, but unfortunately I've had a few of these break on me over the years.

Mag safe connector is a fantastic idea. However, the rest of the power adapter has inherent weakness's...notably the 'T' connection to the adapter itself and the tendency of the power cord to fray.
