Okay product. The joint on the thinner wire gets bad after use. Apple needs to watch the quality for such an expensive product.

This is the third cord we had to get. The first two broke where the Soft cord meets the harder portion where it attaches into the computer. I would of gave it zero stars if I had that option. Since, you need This powet cord for the Apple product to work. You would think This poor made product would of been improved by now. To Continue to replace this 80.00 dollar cord is absurd. We r hoping Using duct tape on the weak parts of the cord will reinforce it so it doesn't fall apart.

The best charger to charge your Mac book super fast

I HAVE HAD SEVERAL MACS AND THE COMPUTERS HAVE OUTLASTED THESE POWERCORDS. THE CORD COULD EASILY BE DESIGNED TO PREVENT THE CORDS FROM BREAKING DOWN AT THE ENDS. IN THE EVENT THEY BREAK DOWN THE DESIGN COULD ALLOW FOR REPLACEMENT FOR JUST THE CORD AND NOT THE BASE PART. APPLE HAS MADE A MINT ON THE REPLACEMENT OF THIS PART. ITS NOT BEST BUYS ISSUE.... ITS APPLES ISSUE.

decent replacement charger, negative: they only last about 2 years. apple makes great products but they need to improve their chargers

This power adapter needs constant replacement. My fourth purchase in 4 years! Need to recommend it as you need it, no choice!

As much as I love Apple products it seems like their cords/cables to all their products are garbage. This goes as far back as I can remember.

Someone stole my son’s charger while he was studying in the college library. At least that is what he said!!! So Best Buy is the most reasonable place for an instant solution. The charger was a perfect replacement because the tech at Best Buy made sure he bought the right thing. Yay, Best Buy! Study on, my son!

This is the 3rd charger I've purchased in the last 3 years. They are constantly burning out. Unfortunately, it's a must to own.

Unfortunately I cannot give this Apple product a good rating. I use Apple products all the time but this is the third time I have had to buy this charger because they don't last long. And they are very expensive for such a poor product. I am very disappointed and I expect Apple to do better than this.

Brought this charger for my notebook. Works just as it should, however it's my 3rd one. I just wish the cord wasn't so fragile.

Solved the problem when my PowerBook would no charge up. Wish I could have found a cheaper charger, but hey, that goes with the Apple universe.

Needed replacement charger and I think this was very expensive for an older model charger and I don't think it's made very well.

I like Mac products and needed the replacement to keep my laptop working. Best buy continues to have all products that I need when I need it.

Sorry to say this is my second power adapter for my Mac Pro. Love the Mac, hate the design of the power adapter, this is the second purchase because the previous one failed. Surprised by the engineering design by Apple, I would thing they should make them as robust as their Macs. These things are by no means cheap. Cannot say I would not recommend because their is not substitute for this power adapter, so bad design.... we are stuck...

It is a hundred dollar charger after taxes. Love best and it is not their fault that Apple robs the general public by over pricing there products

I have had to replace the charger 4 or 5 times. Wish they made the connector stronger and that it was longer.

I didn't have a choice and had to buy it bc only apple chargers work with Apple laptops. Price is high and cord is to fleamsy

The charger works as intended and serves its purpose but I can't help but think Apple is selling this for far too much.

I've heard that other users have had issues with the chargers for Apple products. This is my third MagSafe charger since 2012. I had the same issue with my last one that other users have experienced, fraying of the cable insulation near the magnetic connection. So far the new one is working fine.
