    This is the second failed adapter I had to buy for my MacBook. I do not know why all other companies designs for their adapters do not break. Maybe it's because they have a better anti stress design for their cords? Both times it failed at where the magsafe end and the adapter end. And I was careful with both failed adapters.

    Typical Apple, its great but expensive. There isn't much for alternative options, so you are at their mercy.

    If you have a MacBook this is your only option. It works, to bad it's the third one I have had to buy.

    If your MacBook Pro has a Retina Scan monitor, DON'T BUY THIS ADAPTER. YOU HAVE TO BUY THE MAGSAFE 2 85W!

    Wish they made the newer style for my model. The magnet came off and broke on the original.

    I have a 2012 Macbook Pro that came with this cable, and it frayed at the ends. Terrible. But a replacement for $80 is even worse. But it has to be bought, my old one won't charge my Macbook without having the clip the ends together.

    The cable is very hard to organize. It is hard to manage the cable to keep it clean.

    I am rather disappointed in this product. After light use in my home office, never dropped or abused in any way, this charger stopped working just after the warranty period ended. Of course I bought a new one from Apple because I trust the off brand ones even less, but it should be made better than this!
