Bought this because I forgot mine at work when I flew home. The sales person really did not know anything about Apple power supplies. I have a MacPro that had a 65W charger. The charger that I was sold was 85W. Called apple support and found out that the chargers know if they are connecting to a different wattage appliance - good design Apple.

its a little bulky but i like how it comes with an extension. the fact that i had to buy one with my open box purchase was irratating but after i bought it i wasnt let down. if it were cheaper it would get 5 stars across the board.

I was worried that the new model might not work with my old 2006 15" MacBook Pro when I had to replace my old frayed cable, but it does! No issues whatsoever with the new design. Same great apple product like always. ...just wish it wasn't so expensive for a power cable. But that's apple for ya.

This makes the second Apple MacBook Pro I have purchased in the last two months. Works just like the original I replaced with the first purchase. Second purchase was made because I forgot the charger one time when I was travelling. Best Buy to the rescue!

The design is better than typical laptop power adapters and I don't mind having to replace it after a few years of use. I just wish it wasn't so expensive, it doesn't seem worth the price. It's something I have to buy because the one that came with my laptop wore out, not something I want to buy.

I had to replace my sons power supply that he lost. I have tired the off brand equipment and not had the best of luck. Go with the Apple brand. they are proven to work best with your Apple equipment.

Bought a new charger for my Mac Powerbook after the last one's wires fried. Note to self: don't wind up the cords thoughtlessly while you shove your charger in your bag. Follow how the cord was packaged originally as best you can to prevent less wear and tear. Also make sure to unplug when your battery is fully charged! I sometimes left my laptop overcharging which no doubt had caused the wires to burn out. All in all, this charger does what it's meant to do. Most likely it'll last as long as the warranty (1 year), but that's Apple for ya. Always wanting its devoted customers to buy more. I haven't tried using other chargers manufactured by other companies, as I'm not sure how it would affect my Mac laptop. I'm not a fan of the price but luckily I had a Best Buy certificate. Not sure if the Apple store has offers like that.

After my dog destroyed the original power cord to my Apple 15" Macbook Pro, I needed to replace it immediately, and am happy to report it's exactly the same as the original - working great!

Great cord. The connection is nicer than original Apple cord that came with my MB pro... plus it includes the extension cord as well.

The cord is long and reaches most anywhere I am. The cord seems to be heavy duty. Like that the plug to the computer is magnetic :)

Old charger lasted me 6.5 years. No problems just purchased new charger and works perfectly. 85W charger used for mid 2010 15" MacBook Pro.

wrong size so i had to return it for the right size but it was exactly what i needed... just a bit too pricey

I've had my Macbook for four years and this is the first time I've had to replace the charger. I wish it was less expensive, but it'll last and that's apple for ya. Like I said I bought this for my macbook, not pro or air, and it works perfectly. I just figured if it's the same price as the 60W, why not? I'm not planning on getting a new computer soon, but whenever I do, it'll be some sort of macbook and this charger will be compatible with it. oh, and it does come with the extension to the wall charger cord as well as the direct plug that snaps into the brick.

Best price for this adapter. Better than Amazon. New original equipment, not a knock off. Very pleased. Plug improved.

this works great, it has a really long cord which makes it convenient and able to move laptop around more easily while charging

My original battery pack's cord was server my frayed so it was time to buy a new one. It worked just fine, no issues.

This charger is just like the one that came with the computer. It is fast and I have not had any problems with it.

The redesign makes it even more durable. The angled plug lets the cord sit neat and I am not tripping over it thank goodness.

Due to the fact that my Macbook set me back quite a bit, I decided to get an Apple certified charger. Nice quality, hopefully this will last a long time.
