    Good power cord. Great quality. Mine broke after 4 years,so I replaced it with this one. I haven't had any problems so far.

    I bought the genuine Apple MagSafe at a discount because the box had been opened. I bought a non-Apple one for a third of the price which worked wonderfully, but the cord got damaged (don't know how) where it meets the big rectangle thingy (don't know what you call that). I was considering returning it and getting the inexpensive one again to save $50. but then I didn't. It's always nice to have the genuine product. It does seem a little more solid than the other.

    I replaced one magsafe, and will eventually have to replace the other one, too. They are a bit hard to pull apart, but they work OK.
