You just can't beat, a genuine Apple charger! Best quality out, and comes with the extension cord too! So extra bonus!!

My cat chewed my original MacBook cord. Not wanting to spend the money on the OG, I bought a knock-off. It lasted for a couple of years but finally gave out a few weeks ago. I didn't have time to order and wait for another cheap one so I went and got the OG. What a difference! The battery life on my MacBook has improved and I have learned my lesson about buying something that costs 1/10th of the name brand.

The apple charger is a bit big but it gets the job done! I also wish it would stay plugged in other than falling out the sockets easily

Don't get me wrong, I love Apple products. Also Apple has great innovations. On the plus side, this Apple power adapter sports a "MagSafe" connection, which insure if the cord is tugged on, the cord magnetically releases from your MacBook without any damage. Now the minus: Apple did not put any strain reliefs where the cord enters the power brick or the MagSafe connector. As such, with extended use, the cord eventually fails at these points, which forces you to buy another power adapter.

I purchased this charger for my 2012 MacBook Pro. It works as expected.

The 90° design of the plug makes this adapter much more durable than the previous model adapter that I had.

it's has decent quality, however the price is a lot to be desired, and there is a high chance that it may break after 2-3 years of heavy use.
