    I purchased this power adaptor because mine is about 7 years old, and the cord has breaks in the rubber covering. I was concerned this might be a fire hazard. Also the box part was getting really hot when in use. So I decided to replace it. This part does exactly what I needed it to do: charge my computer and not seem to cause any concerns.

    Great 8ft Long or so and or short option. chord is mag safe to keep from breaking when tripped on.
