    This is now my 4th power adapter purchased for my MacBook Pro. Yes, I'm a little hard on them. But this latest version seems a bit more sturdy. In the past, the wire casing leading from the adapter to the laptop, as well as the wire casing leading from the adapter to the electrical plug weakened with use and frayed. In this latest purchase, the wire casings appear a bit stronger and they are reinforced with a small sleeve on both ends, I expect this will last a little longer than previous versions.
