    Apple does great products. If you choose to use Apple products then you need to buy all their acessoriesd as well.

    Quite expensive at $80 (especially when you consider the quality of the cable), but my original charger did last me for 9 years (mid-2012 MacBook Pro). You can go elsewhere and buy third party charging brick/cable, but for me personally I didn’t want to risk it and stayed with Apple’s official one.

    I've had the item for over a week, so far so good. I've notice it charges my laptop quicker vs my old charger.

    The original cord to my MacBook that I've had for almost 10 years, was splitting and the wire was exposed. I am in school and need my MacBook to complete homework, and don't have time to make the trip to the Apple Store. I was surprised to see that Best Buy carried the exact charger for my MacBook AND it was an authentic Apple product; not a knockoff.
