This is the power charger I bought after the one I got it with my laptop and another one I bought after are broken in the same way. Surprisingly the wire break occurred at the point the L connector is connected the the power charger box for both. Also these chargers gets hot in short time. I am afraid it could explode if I leave it connected to the laptop unattended. I have seen some online posts that these are the common quality problem for Apple chargers.I am a gentle user and I am surprised what happened to the apples quality control standards and why the places like Best Buy sells such products without insisting certain quality in the products. I wish apple could come out with some kind of design change to save $$$$ for their users. I still have my old charger with broken wire if Apple/Best Buy wanted to look at. The charger box works but the wire is broken and there is no effective way to fix it.

Excellent customer service. Asked at front reception desk where the replacement cords were. An associate standing near by walked me to the display area, got the requested item and "smiled" the whole time he was assisting me, Only surprise was the price......... much more than I expected but I needed the cord.

I simply needed to replace this cord as mine was old and torn. Amazingly I didn't realize how much better my battery life would be. My computer definitely gets a better charge and I can use it now for much longer without it being plugged in.

It's just a MacBook charger. It works as a charger should, providing you a nice, beautiful charger to your MacBook. Needed one in a hurry and the Best Buy I went to had one, so that was nice. Thanks for reading this review you beautiful person.

This is a great product, I got mine caught in a recliner and had to replace it. I bought the wrong charger (not sure why apple makes to different chargers for their laptops), it almost messed up my laptop BIG TIME!! BE CAREFUL!!! Make sure you purchase the right charger!!!

Perfect replacement for cord when my cat ate the original.

A lot of people say these are expensive and don't last but these are the best charging cables for your mac...they don't mess up the battery and when you use the plastic tabs to wind the cable before you travel you will get a lot of life out of the cable.

The cable I purchased was exactly as advertised. I think their is a slight Apple design flaw in the placement if the cable and that is why I had to buy a new one in the first place. But the product and my experience with Best Buy were both very good.

I bought this because the one that came with my laptop finally frayed too much to charge. On the spendy side, but it does the trick. I also bought some moldable stuff to cover the part by the plug so it doesn’t break or fray again.

No major complaints. Had to buy another adapter after my first one died after almost 3 years use. I like that the attachment is magnetic, but I do not like how bulky the adapter is. I'd prefer the cord to be a tad bit longer, as well. Otherwise, it gets the job done.

...to bring your MacPro Power Charger? Well...you head to the nearest Best Buy, of course, and pick up a spare! Works as expected, priced competitively. This will be the Power Charger that remains in the suitcase, ready-to-go! Thanks, Best Buy!

Sadly my old recharger would no longer work so I needed a new one and rather than order online wanted to purchase from a local store. Was convenient and did not cost more or less than anywhere else. Always try to support Best Buy when I can and the price is right.

Didn't want to take any chances with an off brand charger and computer. It was fantastic that Best Buy carried this product in stock when we broke the wire in the other charger we had been using. Thanks for stocking original parts.

This is a replacement for the original that came with my MacBook Pro. On the original power cord all the insulation fell off exposing the bare wire - never had that happen out of the 7-8 Apple laptops that I've owned. So far no problem - still love the Apple products!

This is the exact charger all Apple laptops come with. I just wish the thinner wire was sturdier to prevent fraying and poor connections after heavy use... of course, I was predominately using this in college and was finding my classmates kept sitting their chairs on it... Overall, good typical Apple charger.

I have been through 3 or 4 chargers in the last 5 years given one was off brand(Not worth it ). It's a good charger but it is expensive. But when you have a paper due the same day your battery breaks, you have no choice but to purchase it.

This works with late 2013 MacBook Pro 15”. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I don’t agree with the price. This thing won’t last you a few years if you’re the type of person who move your charger around or put it away in a bag, etc.

Certainly meets our needs and hopefully will last!

My original cord lasted 2.5 years. I was looking for aftermarket cords, but did like the overall reviews. Yeah, Apple charges an arm and leg, but I chose to go in this direction. If I could do it again, I would still choose the MacBook Pro. It is what it is...
