For what it is, this is expensive. But ya gotta have it! My past cords broke at the block and behind the piece that connects to the laptop. Google apple power cord spring mod or wire loom mod. Either is a cheap fix for something apple should make right from the beginning.

Needed a new charger plug and this was the right tool.

This is a product that needs to be redesigned by Apple. They haven't changed the wires in years and will also wear and tear and melt and break. I just bought it cause my other one did that and I need it for my MacBook to work.

The charger works well for my Macbook Pro. I was looking for just the short part of the cable, the part that plugs into the notebook. However, I couldn't find them online. Oh well, I had to get the entire charger...it was a bit more $, but it works well.

Need to replace the old one cause it stop work and the salesman was great and help out very fast and got me out there with no problem

This adapter was desperately needed because my old one broke and I needed it immediately. So thankful that the store had one in stock because I had to take a test later that afternoon with my laptop.

My original MacBook Pro Laptop power cord stopped charging my Laptop due to age (2010). I went to Bestbuy Online and researched a replacement. My local Bestbuy Store had exactly what i needed to replace my cord.

Had to get a new mac book pro charger when my old one blew up. Didn't want to wait to order a new one since I use my computer every day. The new charger is perfect and works but the $80 price tag was a little more than I would have liked to pay. But desperate times call for desperate measures I guess.

This purchase was one of convenience: I like to make sure that I do not forget the power cord at one or the other of our two residences. So this purchase was for the second one. And of course with all of my Apple stuff, I have no complaints.

Needed power cord for my son's older Apple computer since the cat chewed on the cord of the last one. Best Buy salesperson was great and showed me the replacement power cord I needed. Genuine Apple product!

I like the fact that the adapter is flexible in terms of plug-in length. Wraparound holders for the cable is nice. Best part is the thinner, less obtrusive laptop connector; it stands a greatly reduced chance of breaking off the cable.

My first charger which I had for years had problems when a heavy chair sat on the cable part and subsequently damaged some of the delicate wiring so just have to be careful if you're moving it from room to room like I often do.

My original power cord frayed and quit working. The laptop was not fully charged when this happened. I was relieved that Best Buy carried this product and it was in stock. I was able to buy it and return to my work immediately.

My daughter is very hard on 'cords' of any type - power & headphones especially. Needed to replace the power cord to her MacBook and we purchased this one. Had no doubt it would work, seeing that it is from Apple.

This adapter is the perfect choice for an apple product. I use it as my second charger when away from home. It should be my first because the magnetic DC connector is better than the original one that came with my mac!

Bought this charger after the charger that came with my Mac book pro stopped working. This new charger works really well I just wish it wasn't 80 dollars kinda pricy if you ask me but other than that it gets the job done

I had to replace the power adapter for my Mac & Micheal was good enough to show me, without a request, an "open-box" one for $10.00 less than one in a sealed box. Nothing in the "open-box" had been noticeably touched & the adapter works perfectly.

I need to get one of these yearly. I believe it's due to the heat breaking down the wires and housing. This time it was mottled and looked like the housing was weathered and dried. The product does what it's supposed to do. Too bad I'm required to replace it each year.

My former Mac book apple charger lost its life. So I went straight away to Best Buy to get a replacement. At the register the man attending me noticed I picked up the wrong charger and got me the best one for my laptop.
