My old charger cord was frayed, so I had to buy a new one. Personally I think 80 dollars for a charger is way too much money, but Apple has the corner market on it.

Exactly the same power adapter that comes with the MacBook Pro, works great, wish it came with some plugs for other countries since it is a separate item and the price is excessive but when you forget/lose/damage your cord you have no choice.

The only charger I would use for my MacBook Pro. There are several cheaper secondary market chargers, but when it comes to my laptop I'm not taking any chances. Spend the extra money and get peace of mind that this charger won't set your laptop ablaze.

My old power adapter wires came lose after about 7 years so it was time to buy a replacement. Great magnet to keep a good connection for charging. Does its job, and does it well!

I ordered online and picked up in the store. They had the product ready and I was in and out within 5 minutes. Love the in-store pickup. The charger works perfect for my 17'' Macbook Pro too!

This Apple brand charger is really the only way to safely and reliably charge your MacBook. The only issue is, like any Apple charger, the plastic protecting the wire of the cord will tear/rip/slide eventually, even if you are careful.

I purchased the MacBook charger. Luckily I found an open box for the correct charger. Staff was friendly in helping me find the correct one.

This fit our machine perfectly. We made sure to get the same voltage as the previous cord. Wish we could purchase half of the cord as it was only one half that was messed up.

Excellent product with the quality expected for Apple products. This was purchased as a replacement for a lost power adapter.

I needed a charger for my old macbook and this on worked just fine. Third party controllers are always a scary thing to buy because their quality is usually sub par but this one was just fine.

my old broke at the cord and i was soo happy to go to best buy and get the exact one and i thought the price was reasonable.

doesn't live up to apple standards. doesn't last but a little over a year which is not like apple products; however, it is needed to charge the mac so it must be purchased whether it will last or not.

Our son needed a replacement adapter for his Mac Book. Best Buy had the adapter in stock and made the entire purchase a breeze considering we are 1800 miles away from our son in college.

Excellent power supply - as you would expect from Apple. Traveling and forgot to bring power supply - nice to be able to pick this up at a convenient Best Buy location along the way!

Using with mid2009 Macbook (not a Pro). Higher wattage than needed for this laptop, but only size available in my area at the time.

Easy and straight forward apple product. Only request is they find a way to better roll up the cables to not compromise the integrity of the smaller cable that connects to the computer.

Tried a fake power cord which was less expensive. It melted within days of use. Won't try a non-OEM power adapter again. Happy best buy had a large selection of them.

I needed to replace the charger for my Macbook Pro and purchased this charger at Best Buy. Took it home, opened it up and it worked just as expected. My only complaint is the price. Not sure that a replacement charger should cost this much.

I really like the small connection to the computer. I do wish Apple would make the cord a little sturdier though. This is the second one I've had to buy in 3 1/2 years. They keep splitting where the end connection and the cord come together.

This is the 2nd time we've replaced the power cord due to breakage and fraying near the connector. It doesn't hold up to the constant bending it gets from normal use. Otherwise a good produce.
