This worked great for my macbook. It was an original part

I needed this charger, because the original one that came with my MacBook Pro failed. I am highly grateful that my local Best Buy carries it, but Apple should either make these more durable to last longer, or lower the price. Overall, I think that this product will withstand average use, but I carry and unplug my laptop several times a day, taking it in and out of bags, in a hurry, to different locations.

That was a good buy, bought it to replace the original that came with the computer. Works well.

Got this to replace a charger that had a short in it for my MacBook Pro. I needed it quickly b/c we were about to leave to go out of town. Works great - no problems! I've tried other off-brand chargers but have had issues with them. I will stick with name brand stuff for my Mac from now on.

First charger lasted 6 years, hope this one does too. Wish the first few inches of cord coming out of the battery portion to the computer itself was a little sturdier like my Sony Computer Charger (that's how the old charger finally kicked the bucket) but I'll just make sure to be careful. Price matched Amazon and saved a couple dollars plus received best buy reward points so that made it better.

As usual, I expect a certain level of quality from an authentic original Apple product. This power supply exceeds that expectation. My only issue with the magsafe power connector, is that some of the early versions would break very easily. The latest versions seem to be improved, with less plastic and more heavy duty parts.

Every five years or so I need to get a new charger for my MacBook Pro. I picked this one up from Best Buy. It was in great condition and I have not had a problem with it. Hopefully it will last me another 5+ years.

I use this charger on a daily basis and love it. I chose to go with the authentc Apple charger because I was concerned with the quiality and safety of aftermarket chargers. The extra money is worth the piece of mind for me.

Good quality, reliable and easy to use Excellent value

I found this adapter to be very helpful in many ways. I work in areas where outlets aren't always in my close proximity and this adapter has quite a long reach. It is also nice to have some versatility with the two detachable pieces it comes with. Excellent product and for me, better than laptop adapter I've ever owned.

For those of you that travel alot, it is great to have an extra power plug for the road. Nice and compact. Quickly charges the MAC. Love the magnetic feature. My only slight complaint is that MAC keeps changing the plugs from iteration to iteration of computer, but that is the only drawback. Otherwise, 5 star product.

I tried to save a few dollars buying a Non Apple power adaptor and learned the hard way when it literally sparked and melted itself while charging after only 3 months of use. From now on I will only buy products actually made by Apple, like this charger. Great quality is worth investing in.

My Mac is over 5 years old and my old cable stop working. I went to best buy hoping they had a replacement because I could not wait for an online order. I was hoping they had the model in stock and they did. It works perfectly. Thanks, Best Buy you are the Best!

Just what I needed works great Just plug it in to your computer that’s all you have to do and we could use it again. Seems to be of good quality, but a little pricey. It’s a good brand name so you pay for what you get.

Power adaptor works great and I was very happy that Best Buy had it available in my local store. I could have ordered it, but was not willing or able to give up my computer for several days to wait for the mail to arrive.

I have a 2010 MacBook Pro that had the magnetic connector go bad on the charger. It has lasted 4 years and this is a replacement. I found online that there are many folks who have had the same failure however there is speculation that Apple has improved the design so I am hoping this will last at until the laptop dies.

This is the same charger that you should have received when purchasing an older-generation MacBook Pro. I still have the last model 17-inch Pro that Apple released. I purchased this adapter because I misplaced my old one. It should probably be obvious from the description that this is the first MagSafe charger, not the new MagSafe 2, so if you bought a MacBook Pro in the past few years, this is probably not the right connector. It's also the 85W version, not the 60W charger for the old Macbooks and MacBook Pro 13. I don't have much to say about this charger, as you are likely only looking to replace an old one or get an extra, so you know what the charger is like. And, although you can probably buy cheaper third-party versions online, I'm always wary of such things. You tend to get what you pay for in that territory.

Bought this for my 15" MacBook Pro and it worked flawlessly, as expected. I've never had problems with Apple products before, but I needed a new charger because I accidentally pinched my old one in a desk drawer. It's a little pricey, but at least I know it'll last and work properly with my laptop.
