Ditch the cord

Does the job with the right charger

Make sure you get a charger that can do 9v / 2.22a 9v / 2.56a or better to get the full 15 watts out of the MagSafe charger otherwise it will not charge at the advertised wattage. Not all chargers and brands are built the same and the numbers truly matter. Just because you have a 30 watt or 90 watt charger for that matter doesn’t mean it will work as advertised. The voltage and amperage matters. If you’re not sure just get the 20 watt apple charger that is guaranteed to work.

My phone kind of gets hot while charging with the magsafe compared to using the usb-c-lighting cable. So cons: high cost, heats up phone. Pros: convenient
