i have had several different brands of these type of devices over the year and this one is by far my favorite. it's small, easy to use and the cord is substantial which has been the issue with other brands in the past.

This is a good product for cars without the 1/8in auxiliary input. The sound quality is tolerable but not the greatest. Honestly though, you can't expect much since it's transmitting the signal through the air instead of a dedicated wire. I couldn't give it 5 stars because the controls are not very intuitive and are hard to navigate, especially if you have to switch channels while driving. My other issue is the price. I feel like this is maybe $10-15 overpriced even though it does act as a charger which is a plus. Overall this is a useful product that allows you to listen to your own music while traveling.

I have used belkin before and this is the first time trying insignia. The quality is much than the belkin. Easy to use and nice looking. Tried for 2 weeks already and enjoying using it

Overall this was rated four stars because it does what it is the scribe to do. I have not figured out how to custom tune the radio feature but I'm almost always able to get a clear signal on the preset stations. I would recommend this.

I have an older car that does not have an accessory jack to plug in my ipad/ipod so I can listen to my music. I purchased this first as an alternative to buying a new radio. Its OK as an alternative but you're limited to the FM quality of the radio. If it's poor, you'll get poor "reception"; however, it's not designed to use the higher quality of a CD or the quality of the music you are trying to play. So, it does exactly what its supposed to do. It does charge your device which is good but make sure you get the correct model to match the iphone or android device.

Very user friendly you choose a radio station that doesn't have music and do the same on the device. It also charges your phone which is a plus.

On older car with no input options, it worked immediately with Iphone 6 with no difficult setup. Second station we tried was perfectly clear, in a large city. Sound was better than hoped for.

The best thing about this transmitter is that it plugs into the charging port instead of the speaker port. This way it charges while you use it instead of draining the battery.

This thing is alright. It works as it should, but the cables might be a little annoying. The buttons and back light are perfect and still working as they should.

You can hear some static, but it works fine with my stock radio and beats headphones for my audiobooks. However it will not do phone calls.

I love this adapter since I do not have a radio antenna on my car, I can listed to music from my phone on my speakers in my car and it charges my phone at the same time.

I bought the FM transmitter for my son who's a new driver. He was able to connect his iPhone seamlessly. We were never able to get previous brand we bought to work. The Insignia brand far exceeded my expectations.

Overall it does the job, it doesn't pick the best channels to play your music clear but I love that it charges my phone while i use it.

I've tried to find a good quality car transmitter for years and they always seem to break or lose effectiveness after a few months. But this one has been amazing.

If you're looking for a cheap all one (charger/ FM transmitter) this is a safe purchase. the quality of reception lacks. Not sure why but I have another FM Transmitter that plugs into the mic jack it works better.

I had never heard of this, my teen daughter wanted it. I wanted to surprise her so I went to the store and as always a Best Buy employee knew just what I needed and took me right to it in the store.

So far, the transmitter is working better than the old one I had. It's self-correcting feature is awesome! I just wish it was priced a bit cheaper, but if it lasts at least a year, I'll be happy.

Quality of product is good. Sound quality isn't as good as more expensive ones I've purchased, but I'm tired of spending so much money for the other ones to break in just a couple of months.

My daughter wanted to be able to listen to her own music in the car without using a lot of data. Device was easy to set up. Very happy with this product.
