Customers frequently mention the ease of use, quality, and design of the Optical Mouse as significant strengths. Many appreciate its compatibility with Apple products and the comfortable feel. However, some users point to issues with battery life, the wired connection, and the scroll wheel's functionality. A shorter-than-ideal cord length was also a recurring concern for some customers.

I had been using a bluetooth mouse for quite some time. It is so irritating to wait for "pairing" and to top it off, the batteries do not last very long.
If for some reason you can't "pair", you have to have a "wired" mouse. So this is the greatest addition I have added to my computer.
It is A GREAT MOUSE - easy setup and customizing the way you want it to operate. The blue tooth mouse has been retired. PROBLEM SOLVED !

Original equipment that comes with the iMac is a bluetooth wireless mouse. It is extremely sensitive that makes the screen shaky at barely touched mouse. It was very uncomfortable when you do some typings or searching on maps for loactions. I've decided to switch to the traditional mouse at the time when the wireless device started having issues. It was brought to the store and was confirmed by Geek Squad that it was defective. To make the story short I've bought the traditional mouse instead of waiting for the new wireless mouse. Everything is good so far with the traditional mouse i.e no shaky screen, plus I don't have to worry about champing batteries.

I needed a USB mouse for my daughter in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic that would be durable and would not require batteries. Her Macbook is essential for her public health research, and when the trackpad failed, this was the perfect option. I had used a similar mouse before for 5 years without a failure. Great product for a rough and tumble environment.

My husband bought a mac laptop and was having a terrible time with the track pad. Since I have been running this mouse for years and love it ,I went and bought him one.The optical mouse was a hit from the beginning. He said, it is so easy to move, simple to use and feels great in his hand. This mouse works well for older people who have trouble with track pads.

When I bought this mouse I didn't know what I was getting myself into. No matter wha, Windows OS or Apple OS, this mouse works on both types of computers. If you are an apple person but can't afford on of there computers but still want a mouse made by them, then this mouse is the way to go.

Sometimes my track pad gets wonky, so I bought this to have on hand. I've used it a few times now and it works great. Easy to set up and use. No problems at all. I know there is a wireless mouse now, too, but this one is fine for the amount of times I'll use it.

I had a wireless mouse that would run through batteries every few months. It was so annoying! I absolutely love my new cordless mouse. I don't have to worry about having batteries or waiting for the mouse to continue to the wireless service. I so recommend a the optical mouse.

I am 25 years of age and I was not even in my double digit ages when computers came in. Optical was a game changer since the rolling ball wasn't needing maintenance. Over the years mice for computers have started resembling track pads. I find that for a Desktop over my experience as not only a consumer, but as a tech support specialist, trackpads are best served by Laptops. It just lends itself more to it. Nothing against the Magic Mouse, however I found it tough to adjust. Hence the title, If you're used to the old school stick with the old school. Also it has the Apple Flavor into this product. I highly recommend it. Its a happy medium of the Magic Mouse and the rolling ball mouse. Plenty of buttons and very smooth. The best part? NO BATTEIRES! :D

As far as a mouse goes, this one is excellent. My other MAC mouse was wireless and needed new batteries often. I like this one better.
Thanks and good luck in writing,

No problems with the mouse, but traction along various surfaces seems weird. The scrolling mechanism is hard to control. I preferred the wireless mouse except for the cost and always putting in batteries.

I've been having issues with my wireless mouse, namely lag, so I purchased these. I know the less wires the better, but in this case, I'll happily take a wired mouse if it means flawless functionality.
Very happy with product.
