    Sorry but I have not used this pen yet but I had to have it for my new I PAD as a gift for my wife. I Iike that the pen has a lithium battery and I don’t have to buy batteries that eventually leek and you have to take out and recharge all the time. The magnet that attaches it to the I pad is clever.

    Charges easily enough. It has to be flat side down against the side of the ipad and has to be in a specific place. It does not stay charged as long as I thought it should. Sometimes you have to screw and unscrew the tip to get it to work.

    Apple pencil pro has some new features like magnetic attachment, automatic charging, pressure sensitivity and other tools. However writing quality was better in Apple Pencil 1st gen. This pencil does not write well. Better use knockoff version if you only take notes.

    This pencil is just the Pencil 2 but improved. I have no complaints. But avoid the Type-C pencil. It is worth the money to upgrade.
