When this Mac arrived and I took it out of the box, it looked like it had just been sent directly from the previous owner. The outside of the Mac was filthy and the cord was scraped up and black with dirt. once I got it open and operating, there were at least three keys on the keyboard that did not work properly, and sometimes not at all. for the money I paid for this machine, it should have arrived in pristine condition just like a new one.

We purchased this item March 2021. First problem, it arrived 4 days after it was supposed to. Then it had a noticeable dent in the Mac Book Pro which was disappointing, as that was not in the description. We just received it today, we will try it out for a few days and see if it's worth keeping. I will update this post once I know more.

Love it my Mom purchased it for me for school and it came right on time. The battery runs down fairly faster than it stated other than that it’s Perfect

Sure who wouldn’t want the latest Mac book, but this one still has ALL the ports, crazy RAM and storage you can’t find on an updated version! At first I thought getting the latest ‘15 screen was it, but there isn’t that much difference for me, I can comfortably work on a ‘13 screen without even noticing. When I first received it, there was a veryyyy minor blemish here and there, but sooo minor I can’t even remember them or where they were, so excellent condition! Runs smooth and consistently like the classic Mac would and I’m more than satisfied! I can see me using this pro refurbished ‘11 for the next few years and for important projects so I most def added the geek squad plan! Just can’t go wrong with the value and PEACE OF MIND! Good value for the price. A lot faster than my previous laptop. Only down side since it was a refurbished machine no instruction booklet to tell you where to find things but I’m getting used it it and finding my way around.

This was a great purchase! Easy to use and is my go to laptop. It syncs with my phone and Apple account. Definitely a great tool for school or business. Helps with staying organized

Laptop works well and is functional. There are still a few minor issues. Battery drains incredibly fast and one of the USB ports doesnt work well.

The quality of the MacBook Pro lives on even after being refurbished. My only disappointment was unlike Walmart, Best Buy does not offer an extended warranty. Walmart has a one, two or three year option. I wish I would have researched that before purchasing.

It came in great condition and works perfect out of the box. I like that it has a disc drive which the new ones don’t but am a little disappointed it can’t update the os any further

I'm pretty sure this "refurbished" laptop was never fixed and accidentally tossed in box to sell. I opened it on the same day as pick-up and it would automatically reboot every time it was set down. The next time I turned it on, I got some screen glitches and it crashed. I went to return it and the laptop turned on but the password wasn't working. They wouldn't help me around it. I understand they don't "have" to because it's an Apple, they told me to go downtown or call to have an Apple staff help me. Kind of ridiculous they wouldn't offer any tech support even though it was clearly defective and shouldn't have ever been sold. I was hoping for better accountability from BB. They sent me home. The third time I tried to turn it on, it beeped repeatedly. I looked online and it suggested a RAM issue. I found a hot-key troubleshooting combo as suggested for RAM issues and was able to get it to stop beeping but the screen wouldn't turn on. Someone at an Apple store helped, super quick (with appt.) and I was able to return it. Piece of garbage. I'd have appreciated better tech support given they sold me a broken computer.

Used by college freshman. Carried to classes and work on a daily basis. Holding up great. Purchased a plastic shell/cover. Fits nice and helps with wear and tear. Don't notice the extra weight in my backpack. Charge overnight and holds charge through the day.

I've purchased a number of refurbed products over the years and they typically look brand new. This item not-so-much. It looked as if someone had dropped the thing, it slipped under their bed and was left there until they decided to trade it in for an upgrade. It was covered in scratches and dents. It was also painfully slow which was unexpected since it's identical to a model I already own. I swapped out the hard drive which helped but something is still a bit off. So, yeah, if you're going to get a refurbed Mac go to an Apple store.

Good laptop at a decent price. Everything working fine. Only problem is the weight or laptop. It's a little bit heavier than usual apple MacBook.

I am a student and well I was looking for something that did not have a constant need for updates such as a windows laptop. Refurbished was the best bet for me.

the refurbished MacBook pro is useless, because it is a 2011 build. it came with no mac programs. in order to download any mac programs, one must download the newest mac OS, mojave. earlier OSs are not available. Mac OS Mojave cannot be downloaded into any MacBook older than mid-2012. therefore, this 2011 refurbished MacBook pro is completely useless. returned.

Could not tell it was ever used. Very fast down loads. Extremely happy with this product

So Best Buy orders this through a 3rd party company who clearly doesn’t know what “like-new” means. Mine arrived looking like a truck ran over it. They ports were all damaged and it would not hold a charge. Then good luck trying to return it! Just save some extra money and buy new and go directly to Apple. Best Buy was rude and not helpful dealing with the crappy product they sold me.

Had to exchange this, bestbuy made it easy, curbside service. After 2 weeks the battery showed an X. Only would work with the AC plug. Exchanged it for a new MacBook. Worth it. Thanks Best Buy!

The fuctions to this laptop was great at first. Then a few days later laptop stop working. Had to return.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with purchasing a refurbished computer. Works great! In great condition. Super happy.
