easily pairs with my Apple TV cheep and affordable

We love our Apple TV, and have had it for years. It was time to replace the remote we had (it has taken a beating), and these are available at every Best Buy I've ever been to. Simple to use, nothing complicated here, and the prices are set by Apple, so you don't have to worry about paying more than at any other store.

I wasn't sure if Apple sold a remote separately for my old Apple TV that I purchased many years ago. I went to the Best Buy store and the sales rep helped me select the remote and assured me that it would work right out-of-the-box. To my surprise it did! Leave it to Apple to make such a great little product.

Works great and looks great. The only problem is that it can easily get lost.

What can you say about a remote that is made specifically for a device? This works exactly as advertised / the original. I had to replace the original after losing it and this allowed me to do just that. Would love to be able to "scroll" the center button to quickly move between selections on the Apple TV. However I don't see that being a possibility until the next Apple TV revision.

We have the Apple TV and are thankful we can run out and buy a replacement and have it work right away without any extra trouble. Just take it out of the package and start using it. We just now paired it with our Apple TV (didn't know about it until now) and we've had it for 2 years. Love it.

I'm sure I'm not alone in this being a replacement for the 2-3 remotes lost thus far. Being so small, they're easy to lose. Too bad these don't have tracking on them. Beyond that, the remotes work well and are very easy to use. Seem a little pricey -- but they are reliable, for sure.

Apple TV remote is intuitive and well built but small and easy to lose.

This remote control is very easy to operate. Very light and resistant.

This remote is a replacement for a lost remote (which we recently found) and works like its supposed to. The interesting thing is that it also works for my son's macbook pro. Great, solid product, it's made of polished aluminum which makes it durable on top of functional.

I bought this remote to replace the remote that came with my 3rd generation Apple TV. The remote is great for what it is designed for, (Apple TV and Macs,} it's just to small and easily lost. Two days after I purchased the replacement remote, I found the one that originally came with the Apple TV. I need to stop moving and settle down for a year or two.

I love experiencing Apple's latest technology, but the trackpad remote shipping with the 4th generation Apple TV devices just doesn't cut it with me. I bought this to replace the remote included with the newest ATVs. I find it much more manageable and accurate.

Great remote, but wish it was a bit bigger. Very easy to lose!

What a great product to go from my computer to netflix. The only complaint I may have is the remote is so thin and small it easily gets lost in the couch or chair. So, having misplaced it I had to get another remote. Thats ok, now I have a backup. Love this product.

I lost the original remote and used my iPhone 'Remote' app as a replacement, but found it too frustrating to use as a general remote. Loved getting the replacement remote for easy of use. I still use my iPhone to type in searches, etc.

when your remote dies its nice to know that you can find a replacement easy enough, since i use it with my apple tv, my laptop for presentations and to control music, its just really handy to find a direct replacement like this.

This remote serves its function for operating the Apple TV, however, it is so slim and small, that it is quite easy to loose! In fact, this is why we had to purchase another remote; in order to replace the first one that was lost.

My Apple TV remote was misplaced. Went into Best Buy and purchased a new one for a better price than I expected. Ironically I found the original remote so now I have two but they are very small and easy to misplace so I'm sure having two won't be a bad thing. Wish they were a little bigger.
