I lost my remote and needed a replacement. I was glad to see that best sold them and for a great price! You can use the remote app in a pinch, but you really need this remote to get the most out of your Apple TV!

Just a replacement one as the two year old I baby sit hid the last one in my apartment somewhere and has yet to be found. I appreciate that they just sell these separately and are easy to find at best buy and only $20.

I purchased this remote as an open box item to replace one of the Apple TV remotes I lost somewhere in the house. This remote functions perfectly and is an exact match to the one that mysteriously disappeared.

these remotes are durable. Just two complaints- it can get lost easily because it's so small, and it tends to share signals with the AC in the room and sometimes controls the AC instead of the Apple TV. Either way, this remote is essential once you have an Apple TV from Best Buy.

This remote is super easy to use and pretty self explanatory. Battery life is long lasting & the price point is one where I won't cry if I have to replace it due to it being misplaced ;)

Perfect replacement remote for apple tv. It's thin and easy to loose, but the aftermarket replacements just don't work as well. As a bonus, the price at Best Buy was actually less than the Apple Store!

The newer style of the apple remote is beautifuly designed to be more rugged and ergonomic than the original. it does have one major flaw; because it is so much thinner, combined with the tapering down at the side edges, it slips down between your couch cushions constantly!

I lost my remote purchased a new one, I like it works well. My only negative is you have to read the instructions to know some thingslike hold down select, and it is small gets lost easily. But I also like it small because it don't have a bulky look. Overall like it.
